Virginia Law Enforcement Agency Featured on National Television

A sheriff's Department had the chance to showcase its work to a nationwide audience on Friday and Saturday night.

The sheriff's department in County — located along I-95 halfway between Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia — was one of the police departments featured on this weekend's “On Patrol Live” broadcast, which follows the work of officials from across the country.

Ahead of the broadcast, the department shared the following statement with Potomac Local:

“We are both honored and humbled to be able to show America how important humanizing the badge is by building stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities we serve,” said Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger L. Harris.

Potomac Local also added the following:

“On Patrol: Live” airs Friday and Saturday Nights from 8 p.m. to midnight on REELZ.
