After Pair Of Losses In Georgia, Stacey Abrams Hopes To Influence Deep Red State

-

Twice-failed gubernatorial candidate hopes to influence another red state with her liberal .

During a Tuesday morning MSNBC appearance, Abrams was asked which southern state “is ripest for the sort of transformation you helped accomplish in Georgia?” Abrams quickly responded, “,” where Democrat challenger is set to take on GOP governor in November. “I think that we have an exciting set of elections coming up in Mississippi,” Abrams said.

However, Abrams' liberal reputation could ultimately work against Presley's campaign as he seeks to position himself as a “bipartisan populist” in the traditionally deep red state. The Democrat is seeking to pull off an upset in a state that backed former president by 16 points in 2020.

The former Georgia state lawmaker has served as a co-chair to a group working to defund police. In May 2021, Abrams also joined the board of a far-left foundation that went on to funnel money to communist academics who advocate for the abolition of prisons and private property. Abrams also serves as general counsel for the environmental group Rewiring America, which has pushed to eliminate oil and gas from America's economy, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

However, despite Abrams' years of political experience, the liberal activist has struggled to actually draw a successful turnout on Election Day.

After serving for six years as minority leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, in 2018, Abrams ran for governor against Republican Brian Kemp. While the Democrat dropped a whopping $27 million on the race, she ultimately lost to Kemp by 1.5 points before going on to claim the election was “stolen.”

However, when Abrams re-challenged Kemp in 2022, not even her record-setting $113 million worth of fundraising could help her get to the governor's mansion. Abrams lost to Kemp by an even larger 7.5-point margin last November.

  1. If the voters listen to that moron Stacey Abrams, I would have to put them in the same class of people she is in LOSERS.

  2. SA should be able to spit tobacco juice a mile, almost at far as she spits bovine excrement.

  3. I had just read my daily Babylon Bee headlines email, and then read this article’s headline in the next email. I thought it was a continuation of the Bee. The Leftists are becoming harder and harder to parody, because so much of the satire about them comes true.
