The Biden administration has its sights on another popular home appliance.
A plan unveiled by the White House on Friday would impose energy-efficient standards on water heaters. (RELATED: Energy Chief Insists All Military Vehicles To Be All-Electric By 2030)
The plan would push consumers toward “carbon-friendly” electric heaters, which cost 33% more monthly.

The Department of Energy (DOE) said its proposal would ultimately “accelerate deployment” of electric heat pump water heaters, save Americans billions of dollars and vastly reduce carbon emissions. If finalized, the proposed standards would force less energy efficient, but cheaper, water heaters off the market.
“Today’s actions — together with our industry partners and stakeholders — improve outdated efficiency standards for common household appliances, which is essential to slashing utility bills for American families and cutting harmful carbon emissions,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in a statement.
“This proposal reinforces the trajectory of consumer savings that forms the key pillar of Bidenomics and builds on the unprecedented actions already taken by this Administration to lower energy costs for working families across the nation,” she continued.
Overall, the DOE projected the regulations, which are slated to go into effect in 2029, would save Americans about $198 billion while curbing emissions by 501 million metric tons over the next three decades. That’s roughly the same carbon footprint as 63 million homes or half of all homes nationwide.
In addition to water heaters, the administration is forging ahead with new standards for other popular household items, including gas stoves, refrigerators and dishwashers as part of its climate agenda. (RELATED: Fox News Hosts Pile On Electric Vehicles For Ditching AM Radio)

changing to all Electric vehicles in the Military by 2030 is by far the Stupidest thing I have ever heard of. they can’t get the current vehicles ewnough battery power to operate efficiently. There isn’t enough material in the USA to continue making the Batteries for civilian Vehicles let alone all the required Military Vehicles. If they go into a combat zone how will they recharge the vehicles to keep going we will end up losing the War and that’s what China and Russia want not to mention the other Communist Countries. Our Government has gone completely bonkers on us.

Somebody needed to tell that senile old fool Biden, and his stooges, that we don’t have neither the technology nor the materials to go total electric on civilian cars, much less our military vehicles, anywhere in at least the next decade or more. If we don’t get rid of Biden and the rest of the democrats they will destroy our constitutional republic and replace it with their version of a socialist government, with them in total control of course.
