Ahead of the election, legacy media appears to be rewriting history in an attempt to keep Kamala Harris in the White House.
Kamala Harris’s offices have been notorious for pitiful retention rates, and journalists that have previously acknowledged that as an indicator of her questionable leadership seem to be walking back their former positions in an attempt to thwart Trump from reclaiming the presidency.

“A Kamala Harris staff exodus reignites questions about her leadership style — and her future ambitions,” Washington Post reporters Cleve R. Wootson Jr. and Tyler Pager penned in 2021. Fast forward to Friday, the Post’s Wootson Jr. and Dan Diamond published a title that seemingly contradicts its opinion of three years ago: “Kamala Harris ran her office like a prosecutor. Not everyone liked that.”
In a second example, the New York Times’s Zolan Kanno-Youngs, Katie Rogers, and Peter Baker characterized Harris’s vice presidency as “struggling,” a “political liability” and “disastrous” in an article from 2023 titled “Kamala Harris Is Trying to Define Her Vice Presidency. Even Her Allies Are Tired of Waiting.”
By August 2024, after Harris became the Democrat Party’s nominee, Kanno-Youngs and Baker wrote Harris’s vice presidency in a better light. They dubbed Harris’s record as “complex” in an article titled, “A Vice Presidential Learning Curve: How Kamala Harris Picked Her Shots.”
It’s no secret that Kamala Harris hasn’t been particularly popular among Democrats throughout her vice presidency. She had abysmal approval ratings throughout her administration and prior to Joe Biden’s career-ending debate with President Trump, top Democrats were discussing ousting her from the ticket. In a since-deleted video, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that behind closed doors, Harris had no support.
Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) former chief of staff contended, “This is just the latest example of how the same reporters and institutions that debased themselves covering for Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline are now debasing themselves to reinvent Kamala Harris’s long record of incompetence and failure.”

The media bias underscores why six out of ten Americans say the establishment media are to blame for misinformation, according to a 2023 Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research survey. Only 16 percent say they are very confident the media report the news fully and fairly. Forty-five percent told the pollster they have little to no confidence at all.
This isn’t the first example of the media attempting to rewrite Kamala Harris’s history. Multiple outlets flatly denied that Kamala Harris was ever named “border czar” despite well documented evidence that she did. They’ve also tried to whitewash her prosecutorial record, and that she sent many people to prison for possession of small amounts of marijuana.

The Daily Beast also noted that Harris had visited the facility in El Paso but noted that “the real action is 800 miles away in the Rio Grande Valley.” She had a 4 hour meeting at the border facility in El Paso. That in fact was a close as she got. Biden and Harris had absolutely no intention of doing anything to stop illegal entrants anywhere at the border. The were too busy rounding up illegal’s and putting them on planes to be flown all over the United States, without being properly examined medically or really vetted as to their background. Talk about stuffing the ballot box’s…(with illegals voting illegally)!!! Does anyone actually have a clue as to the numbers or locations of these criminals????
