A recent poll indicates Vice President Kamala Harris holds a 7-point lead over former President Donald Trump, reflecting a significant post-convention boost for the Democratic nominee.

The survey, commissioned by Fairleigh Dickinson University and released over the weekend, shows Harris with 50% of national support compared to Trump’s 43%. The poll highlights that while both candidates are equally strong among their respective party bases, Harris has strengthened her lead among minorities and women.

Crosstab analysis reveals that Harris and Trump are virtually tied until respondents consider issues related to race and gender, at which point Harris gains a significant advantage. (RELATED: [WATCH] Tucker Breaks Down Kamala’s Speech – See What Scares Him)

The Hill reports:

With independents who do not lean toward either party, Harris still leads Trump, but by a smaller margin, 38 to 33 percent, the poll found. Harris holds a large lead among self-identified liberals, 87 to 10 percent, along with progressives, 93 to 5 percent, and moderates, 62 to 30 percent.

The former president, meanwhile, leads among conservatives 76 to 19 percent, and MAGA voters, 95 to 4 percent.

Trump saw his strongest support among men “who hold traditionally masculine identities,” while women and other men who reject these identities favor Harris, according to pollsters.

“Trump has built his political career around a very specific performance of whiteness and masculinity,” Dan Cassino, a professor of government and politics at Fairleigh Dickinson and the executive director of the poll, said in a release. “In the past, that’s been seen as a strength, but it’s no longer clear that it’s working.”

“Race matters in elections, but it’s not inevitable that voters are thinking about it,” Cassino explained. “Trump does reasonably well among nonwhite voters so long as they’re not thinking about race: Once they are, we see a huge shift to Harris.” (RELATED: NFL Legend’s Wife Causes Outrage With Huge Pro-Trump Action)

According to the polling index by The Hill and Decision Desk, Kamala Harris currently holds a 3.6-point lead over Donald Trump.

For comparison, at this same point in 2020, Joe Biden had a more substantial 7.1-point lead over Trump. Similarly, in 2016, Hillary Clinton led Trump by 6%.

Money can’t buy true love, but it can buy poll results! I’m calling this article pure BS!

Our country is full of low information voters. People who listen to the hype rather than do the research on candidate backgrounds. Harris is one of the most dangerous candidates to enter our presidential election. Also, there are folks who will always vote blue or red regardless of who the candidate is.
