The friendship between President Trump and billionaire Elon Musk has gone south…
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk polled his followers on Thursday, asking if there should be a “new political party in America” as he sparred with President Donald Trump over the “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
“Is it time to create a new political party in America that actually represents the 80% in the middle?” Musk asked his 220 million followers on X, the platform he owns.

Elon Musk and President Donald Trump’s feud about the “Big Beautiful Bill” hit a fever pitch on Thursday when the tech billionaire responded to the president’s criticism in a post on X saying Trump would have lost the election without his help.
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such ingratitude,” Musk wrote in a post responding to Trump’s remarks about him.

While speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said that he was “very disappointed” by Musk’s vocal criticisms of the bill. The president claimed that Musk knew what was in the bill and “had no problem” with it until the EV incentives had to be cut.
“I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here, better than you people. He knew everything about it. He had no problem with it,” Trump said. “All of a sudden, he had a problem. And he only developed the problem when he found out that we’re going to have to cut the EV mandate.”
However, Musk seemed to escalate the feud even further by implying President Trump is somehow linked to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.

Have a nice day, DJT!
Musk, who took a step back from his White House role last week, has been increasingly critical of Trump’s signature piece of legislation.
Musk said last month that he was “going to do a lot less in the future” in regards to political donations, but left the door open.
“I think I’ve done enough,” Musk said at Bloomberg’s Qatar Economic Forum, adding, “If I see a reason to do political spending in the future, I will do it. I do not currently see a reason.”
This is a breaking news story. Please check back for updates.

Nancy, you need to clear the definitions for REGARD and REGARDS. The below should say “in REGARD to . . . .”

Journalists should know.
Whats new Party name>?
Rerun Tea Party from 90s??
Trump will kiss Putin’s feet, but the man who he owes so much to can’t get Trump down from his pedestal. If Musk starts a new political party, Trump will be responsible for the end of Republican dominance. Musk will draw a lot of followers because he can get things done with much more than his mouth. Trump better solve this fast, because it could doom the party as soon as 2026.
