A prominent pro-life activist acquitted after a traumatizing FBI raid is running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District.
Team Biden dropped its case against pro-life activist Mark Houck seven months ago. Federal prosecutors alleged Houck, 48, violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act during an incident outside a Philadelphia abortion clinic in October 2021. The FACE Act prohibits violent, threatening, damaging and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services. DOJ attorneys accused Houck of assaulting a Planned Parenthood escort, who Houck said harassed his 12-year-old son. Philadelphia police officers declined to arrest Houck at the scene, citing insufficient evidence of assault.

“I am running for Congress to further protect my family, those in the 1st district & the Republic,” Houck says on his campaign website. “I will focus on restoring traditional values & principles that are central to the American identity, such as faith, family, & freedom of speech, religion, & the right to bear arms.”
“I have seen first-hand what an out of control government can do to its citizens,” he added. “I will fight to protect all people and their rights under God & our Constitution. My platform is based on common sense.”
Houck is running for Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, which includes all of Bucks County and a bit of Montgomery County. The seat has been held by Brian Fitzpatrick, a Republican, since 2019. Fitzpatrick formerly served as a supervisory special agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a federal prosecutor.

“We took on Goliath—the full might of the United States government—and won,” said his attorney Peter Breen, who is with the Thomas More Society. “The jury saw through and rejected the prosecution’s discriminatory case, which was harassment from Day One. This is a win for Mark and the entire pro-life movement. The Biden Department of Justice’s intimidation against pro-life people and people of faith has been put in its place.”
Last fall, 25-30 federal law enforcement agents appeared at Houck’s home with their guns drawn, hauling the conservative activist away in front of his wife and children.
Before announcing his congressional run, Houck grew to local prominence as an author, radio host and president of The King’s Men, a grassroots organization committed to promoting traditional male roles and responsibilities.

Good for Houck and great for our country. We need to stand against these tyrants and fight for our country.
But what folks REALLY need to do is be far more conscious of who they elect to start with. Citizens need to be much more aware of who they elect at all levels – city, county, state, and federal. If folks paid more attention at election times and got out and voted properly, we wouldn’t be in the situation we are now.
Vote out Democrats and RINOs at ALL levels, and not just the federal level. America can be great again, but only if we vote it to be.
