Report: Arizona Governor Steps Down For One Day

-

Strange things are happening…

On Wednesday evening, Treasurer announced she will be serving as acting governor amid a sudden and mysterious absence from Gov. Katie Hobbes (D).

In a press release on X, Yee announced her brief stint as acting governor, saying that she is “pleased to step in this role.”

“While I am pleased to step in this role, I will refrain from naming directors to the 13 agencies that currently have vacancies and will not call the Arizona Legislature into session to confirm them,” Yee said in an X post. “That being said, I do hope when the Governor returns to Arizona, she will promptly name qualified directors to these important state agencies.”

“I expect to see a quick resolution on this matter, so we can get the work done for Arizona taxpayers,” Yee added.

It's unclear what spurred Gov. Hobbs's sudden disappearance.

  1. Probably spending a day helping “fix” some stored illegal ballots that got her elected so as to not be so obvious that they were faked.

  2. Nervous Breakdown – often dysfunctional people don’t deal well with pressure – she certainly fits the bill of a narcissist
