On Monday’s episode of Morning Joe, co-host Joe Scarborough once again called former President Donald Trump a “threat to democracy” and compared him to Adolf Hitler. Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, has frequently attacked Trump. In this episode, he reiterated inflammatory concerns about Trump’s impact on American politics after the GOP nominee narrowly escaped two assassination attempts.
At another point in the show, Scarborough passionately defended Vice President Kamala Harris for deflecting questions. He noted that he, too, would often reference his personal background when asked about policy issues, such as jobs, during his time in office. “When somebody asked me about jobs, I always started talking about my father… Nobody mocked me,” Scarborough said, arguing that Harris is unfairly criticized for similar behavior.
Scarborough made these remarks amidst ongoing discussions from progressives who blame Trump’s rhetoric for the recent civil unrest, including the two assassination attempts targeting the former president. MSNBC’s Joy Ann Reid previously accused Trump and his campaign of gaslighting the American public by shifting blame for inflammatory rhetoric onto Harris and the Democrats.
Less than two weeks ago, Scarborough went on another rant, claiming a second Trump term would mean television stations being forced off the air and random mass imprisonment. He alleged that Trump planned to consolidate power, target political enemies and use military tribunals to punish critics like Liz Cheney.
In a heated exchange with co-host Mika Brzezinski, Scarborough suggested that many people only support Trump because they’ve been “bullied” into it by the Republican Party and his campaign.

This was the “COUP” the Dems created and try to blame Trump for everything! When things do not add up you know there is a PlayBook being followed and this entire Sham was Pelosi’s Playbook authored by Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, and many more like Thompson, etc. The Insurrection was created by the Democrats and have carried the torch since J6 of 2021. They are the only ones that could be wanting to oust the existing government because on J6 it was a republican government. So Republicans could only be charged with incursion but the Dems playbook said Insurrection. The Republicans were in office so why would Republicans want to get the Republicans out of office (that is what an Insurrection is). The Dems were afraid the Republicans would be successful in overturning the election and electorial votes!!!!
