Former President Donald Trump is threatening Fox News with a lawsuit after it allowed the Lincoln Project to run its latest negative ad against him.
Already involved in a half-dozen or so legal battles, Trump told Fox News that its decision to allow the well-financed anti-Trump group to buy advertising time in television markets that the former president lives at or frequents wouldn’t be tolerated.
In the past, the Lincoln Project ruthlessly berated the 45th president in targeted ads designed to provoke a reaction. Its most recent ad (released today in the New York TV market, which covers Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster) viciously took aim at Trump supporters.
Trump is also known to reside at Bedminster during the summer months.
Per Mediaite, the ad is narrated as follows:
Dear MAGA, we have some bad news. No, not that he lost. Not that your little coup attempt failed and its planners and the attackers are going to jail. No. The really bad news is why Trump told you he lost. Why he set it up way before the 2020 election. It wasn’t voter fraud but it was fraud.
Trump told you the election was stolen ripped you off, to sucker you, to take your hard-earned money and shovel it into his pockets. He spent it on himself not to take back the White House.
It was the biggest scam in political history. Every dollar you sent him paid to keep his shady business empire and lavish lifestyle going. It was a sucker game all along. And you know who the sucker is? You.
Trump’s response to the ad suggests he was livid. Indeed, he fired off a post so quickly on Truth Social that he misspelled former House Speaker Paul Ryan’s name. Ryan now serves on the board of the Fox Corporation.
The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News. I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016. The Paul Ryun run Fox only has high standards for “Trump” ads, but not for anyone else. The Perverts should not be allowed to “false advertise,” and Fox News should not allow it to happen. Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson responded to Trump’s threat with a taunting video, saying in part:
Since you threatened to sue the Lincoln Project this morning — go for it. Go for it, b*tch. Come at me. I can’t wait. We’re delighted by the thought that you would try to sue us, Donald. Do it! Do it! I double-dog dare you.

Or…are they even human? One thing for sure is that they are barking up the wrong tree….Trump does not need funds from us…he has his own, remember? He is a billionaire. Also, the funds he is asking for contributes to his 2024 campaign and those who are also MAGA running against thugs like them. I never mind giving to any fund that is MAGA – it matters not whether it is for DJT or another MAGA candidate. I believe with all my heart that those as in the Lincoln Project spewing falsities will need to be called on the carpet for this big lie! IF they get away with it we are all sunk. Does Fox News and the Lincoln project actually think that we believe a single thing they say, because we don’t. We know exactly who’s lying, we know exactly who is corrupt, and we know exactly who all the swamp rats are.

I do not watch fox and friends when Steve Dousey is on. I hope that Peter is not as stupid as his father. Amazing that these smart people like Jesse Walters and Peter Doocy have such stupid parents. God Bless them for standing strong for their values.
