VP Harris Speaks Out Amid Biden Competency Concerns

-

Vice President Kamala Harris said she is ready for the presidency in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal.

Harris's comments come days after Special Counsel Robert Hur released a report regarding the president's handling of classified documents in which he flagged serious concerns about his age and memory. The report concluded Biden should not face charges over the documents noting,  “also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury…as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Now, Kamala has signaled she's ready for more responsibility despite her record-low approval ratings.

“I am ready to serve. There's no question about that,” Harris responded bluntly. Everyone who sees her on the job, Harris said, “walks away fully aware of my capacity to lead.”

An ABC News/Ipsos poll conducted after the special counsel's report was released found that a whopping 86 percent of Americans think Biden's too old to serve in office.

RealClearPolitics average unfavorability ranks at a whopping 54.7%.

Hur's report sparked immediate backlash from Republicans who have frequently criticized Biden's competency to lead.

Governor Ron DeSantis recently told Mark Levin that lawmakers should invoke the 25th Amendment to remove “senile” Biden from the White House.
