On New Year’s Day, demonstrators sympathetic to the Palestinian cause brought traffic to a halt in Manhattan, rallying under the banner of an “Intifada revolution.” The protests unfolded mere hours after two terror attacks occurred on U.S. soil.
In the heart of Times Square, chants of “New Year’s resolution, Intifada revolution!” echoed through the streets, with protesters marching along 6th Avenue. The demonstration drew attention from both onlookers and law enforcement.

Attendees chanted “Resistance is glorious — we will be victorious,” “We will honor all our martyrs,” and “Gaza, you make us proud.” They carried signs that said “Zionism is cancer,” “No war on Iran,” and “End all US aid to Israel.”
“There is only one solution — Intifada revolution,” they chanted, using a common refrain at anti-Israel rallies in the US. “Intifada,” Arabic for “uprising,” is associated with the Second Intifada, a period of terror attacks in Israel in the early 2000s marked by suicide bombings.

A handful of pro-Israel counter-protesters showed up to wave Israeli and American flags on the sidelines of the demonstration, while heckling the anti-Israel activists. A Jewish retiree led chants of “Get a job” directed at the protesters.
The timing of the protest coincided with two unrelated but harrowing acts of terror. In New Orleans, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen allegedly radicalized by ISIS, drove a pickup truck into a crowd of New Year’s Eve revelers in the French Quarter, claiming 15 lives and injuring dozens. In a separate incident, Matthew Livelsberger detonated a car bomb in a Cybertruck at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, injuring seven and killing himself in a self-inflicted attack.
Both attackers had military backgrounds, raising questions about their radicalization and motives. Law enforcement is continuing an aggressive investigation.

Every patriot and American who loves this country has to be incensed at this demonstration by ANTI-AMERICAN, ANTI-RULE-of LAW, and ANTI-DECENCY thugs and radicalized ISLAMISTS who wish only to kill, maim, and cause chaos.
