Joe Rogan took aim at the Biden administration in the latest episode of his podcast, criticizing its decision to escalate the conflict in Ukraine despite having less than two months remaining in office. The popular podcast host also directed harsh words at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

During Friday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan raised concerns about the ethics of the outgoing administration making major military decisions after being voted out of power. He referred specifically to the decision to target the struggling Russian colossus in Ukraine, stating, “[They’re] trying to like tug the tail of a sleeping… dragon.”

Rogan went on to condemn the administration’s decision-making, asking, “How are you allowed to do that when you’re on the way out? The people don’t want you to be there anymore.”

The host also criticized Zelensky’s remarks about Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling out the Ukrainian leader directly: “Zelensky says Putin is terrified… f**k you, man. F**k you, people.”

Context of the Criticism

The comments come as Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated warnings about U.S.-supplied long-range missiles being used to strike Russia. In September, Putin stated that such actions would effectively make the United States a participant in the war.

Despite these warnings, President Biden authorized Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles for strikes against Russian targets. The move aligns with recent remarks by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who promised to “rush every dollar” possible to Ukraine before the administration leaves office.

Biden, now 82, faces criticism for making consequential foreign policy decisions in the waning days of his presidency, particularly as incoming President-elect Donald Trump has expressed plans to deescalate U.S. involvement in the conflict. Rogan referenced Trump’s campaign promises, saying, “We voted Trump in and his idea to stop all this… hopefully he can do that.”

The Debate Continues

The decision to escalate U.S. involvement in Ukraine during a transition of power has sparked heated debate among commentators, with many questioning whether Biden is even fully aware of the decisions being made in his name.
