Good morning.

Congress is mounting its strongest challenge yet to President Trump’s Iran War, federal prosecutors have unveiled a sanctions-evasion case tied to Iran’s nuclear program, and investigators in Washington, D.C., are digging deeper into allegations that police officials manipulated crime statistics.

The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to approve a war powers resolution to limit unauthorized American military involvement in Iran.

Sponsored by Rep. Gregory Meeks of New York, the measure would require the White House.

The United States has closed its embassy in Kyiv, citing urgent intelligence about a potential “significant” air attack. The move comes amid escalating tensions following a series of developments in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war.

U.S. Cites Specific Threat Intelligence

The U.S. Embassy confirmed it had “received specific information” about a possible attack but did not provide further details. The announcement follows a high-profile strike by Ukraine on a Russian ammunition depot in the Bryansk region, using six U.S.-supplied long-range ballistic missiles.

Embassy staff have been instructed to shelter in place, and U.S. citizens in Kyiv are advised to be prepared to seek shelter if an air alert is announced.

Other embassies, including those of Britain, Spain, Italy and Greece, have also taken precautionary measures, with some instructing their staff to work remotely.

Russia Labels Escalation as a “New Phase” of Conflict

During a press conference on Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, described the latest events as the start of a “new phase” of conflict.

“We will be taking this as a qualitatively new phase of the Western war against Russia. And we will react accordingly,” Lavrov stated, signaling a potential intensification of Russia’s military posture.

Lavrov’s comments came shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree amending its nuclear doctrine to consider any non-nuclear state attack supported by a nuclear power as a joint assault on Russia.

U.S. Greenlights Ukraine’s Use of Landmines

On Tuesday, the Biden administration made the controversial decision to permit Ukraine to use anti-personnel landmines in its defense strategy. The move diverges from the spirit of the 1997 Ottawa Treaty, which seeks to eliminate the use of such mines worldwide.

While 164 nations have ratified or acceded to the treaty, the United States, along with major powers like China and Russia, have not joined. Advocates argue that landmines pose long-term risks to civilians, but proponents of the decision frame it as necessary for Ukraine’s defense in the face of Russian aggression.

Well Biden has screwed up once again and will be leaving the Whitehouse with a bigger bang than he expected. The Biden/Harris administration will go tobany length to savataiuge #TRUMP including risking civilian lives. How pathetic.

BIDEN is losing his last sense of DECENCY – (if he ever had any):
What will he “ALLOW” next? ABC weapons – like in Vietnam? Mass Executions?
IT IS 4 YEARS OVER TIME THAT THE MAN GOES!

Anything political is planned and this is one clear example of a geo-political maneuver, just to aggravate the incoming Trump Administration. However, Trump has the propensity, for taking a lemon and making lemonade, so, you can expect a miracle as far as the Ukraine is concerned, as well as taking Putin to task.
