A Lebanese news network known for aligning with Hezbollah narratives faced a shocking incident on Monday night when an Israeli airstrike struck near the home of its editor-in-chief during a live broadcast.
Editor-in-Chief Targeted During Broadcast
Fadi Boudia, editor-in-chief of Maraya International News Network and a well-known Hezbollah propagandist, was live on Iraqi TV channel iNews when an Israeli airstrike hit the Bekaa Valley, close to his home. The blast shattered the window behind him, interrupting the broadcast.
Though Boudia reportedly sustained moderate injuries from glass shards, there have been no further updates on his condition.

Israeli Air Force Intensifies Strikes on Hezbollah
The Israeli Air Force has ramped up its offensive in Southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah strongholds, including residential buildings suspected of doubling as weapons depots. This latest strike near Boudia’s home suggests that Hezbollah may have been storing weapons in the area.

Hezbollah has a long and violent history of targeting Israeli civilians and Western interests, including the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, which killed 241 U.S. Marines and 58 French paratroopers; the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish community center, also in Buenos Aires.
