A prominent attorney representing more than 100 alleged victims in yet another civil case against indicted rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has hinted that more individuals could soon be implicated.
Tony Buzbee, a high-profile Houston lawyer, announced during a Tuesday press conference that numerous powerful figures could be named in connection to the alleged crimes committed at Combs’ notorious “freak off” parties.

“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” Buzbee said.
Buzbee also hinted that the list of individuals involved is already extensive. “The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names. It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure—damn sure—that we’re right before we do that,” he paused for dramatic effect, then continued, “The names will shock you.”
The New York Post continues:
Buzbee noted that he plans to begin filing lawsuits in various states within the next 30 days, promising to identify the other defendants at a later date.
He said he will reveal the “bystanders” and willing participants who “encouraged” the alleged abuse and “egged it on” alongside Combs.
“These people who know who they are should just come forward now,” Buzbee urged. “I would imagine that as we speak here, there are a myriad of people who are very nervous. You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever. I would expect there are many people out there right now who are desperately searching their memories as they delete their texts and data.”
Throughout the live presser, the Buzbee Law Firm lawyer shared that half of the alleged victims he is representing are male and that the alleged sexual assaults took place across different states – with the majority in New York, California, Georgia and Florida – beginning as early as 1991.
Combs was arrested on Sept. 17, by federal agents in New York City, following a grand jury indictment tied to a human trafficking investigation.
Combs’ legal team responded to the charges, stating, “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist… He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal.” They also mentioned that Combs “voluntarily relocated to New York” in preparation for the charges.
The music mogul’s arrest follows a 2023 lawsuit filed by Combs’ ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassandra Ventura, who accused him of years of torment in a sex trafficking and abuse lawsuit. Although the lawsuit was privately settled one day later, it led to five additional civil suits alleging further sexual misconduct. Among the evidence is video showing Combs violently attacking Ventura at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. The footage corroborates Ventura’s claim that Combs attacked her in the hallway at the hotel.
On March 25, the music mogul’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection to the federal investigation.
“Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed at the time.
Combs’ involvement in a 1999 nightclub shooting has resurfaced as part of his ongoing legal challenges. During that incident at Club New York in Manhattan, three people were injured, including Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face. She has consistently maintained that Combs was the shooter, though he was acquitted of all charges in 2001 after claiming self-defense. His associate at the time, rapper Shyne, was convicted and served time for the shooting.
Combs has long been a figure in the conspiracy theories surrounding Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, but there is no definitive evidence implicating him in the crime. Over the years, rumors have suggested a connection between Combs and the East Coast-West Coast rap feud, which escalated tensions between artists affiliated with his label, Bad Boy Records, and Tupac’s Death Row Records.
The most notable allegation came from former LAPD detective Greg Kading, who led an investigation into both Tupac’s and Biggie Smalls’ murders. Kading claims that Diddy offered $1 million to have Tupac killed, and that the hit was carried out by gang member Duane “Keffe D” Davis. However, these claims remain largely unsubstantiated, and no formal charges have been brought against Combs.
