Following Trump’s historic Madison Square Garden rally, and the speech made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe (popularly known by the social media moniker Kill Tony) including a joke calling Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage, Biden responded, lashing out at Trump supporters.
During Harris’s “closing argument” to the American people, he told reporters, “the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”
From the White House to the newsrooms, Democrats are desperately trying to spin his comments.
In one particularly shameless interaction on CNN, film executive Franklin Leonard said, “As somebody who had a stutter growing up, it’s very obvious to me that there was an apostrophe after ‘supporter’s. He was referring to the garbage spewed by supporters, not simply the supporters themselves.”
He continued addressing why he believed Joe Biden wasn’t on the campaign trail, claiming that speaking to arenas wasn’t his strong suit, before Republican commentator Scott Jennings interjected, challenging his logic.
“I don’t accept your framing of it, personally. I do believe that he, Harris, the Democratic party and most of her campaign do believe that half the country is garbage. The’ve also said people who go to Trump rallies are Nazis. It’s pretty apparent the disdain that they hold half the country in.”
The panel immediately erupted with the other panelists speaking over each other, insisting that Jennings was wrong.
NewsNight host Abby Phillip exclaimed, “You just don’t get to say that!” as if it were some outrageous, outlandish claim, or Democrats on her own network hadn’t spent the week doing exactly what he said they had.
During Biden’s 2020 presidential run, when he was exhibiting early signs of cognitive decline, Democrats dismissed questions about his mental acuity, insisting that he had a “stutter” and speech impediment.
While she initially ignored the remarks, she addressed them Wednesday morning, insisting that she “strongly disagreed” with criticizing people based on who they vote for.
When a reporter asked, “Do you sympathize with any voters who do feel offended by or insulted by the ‘garbage’ comment?” she refused to answer.
She said, “I am ranked for President of the United States, I will be traveling to three states today.”

Karoline Leavitt, Trump campaign national spokesperson, rejected these attempts to water down Biden’s remarks, saying, “There’s no way to spin it: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris don’t just hate President Trump, they despise the tens of millions of Americans who support him. Kamala does not deserve four more years.”The White House, meanwhile, released a transcript of Biden’s smear and added an apostrophe to “supporters” and an em-dash to make it apparently change the meaning of Biden’s statement.

I certainly Know what his meaning is. He is so steadfast to keep Democrats in power that he will say what he is thinking. I know that a slip in the Tonge is really what he is feeling and believes. He is so convinced by the radical billionaires and their wining and dining that he cannot think about anything else but what they tell him. I feel sorry for him, he is but a Paun in this election with impaired mental capacity.
I just hope that whoever is elected has the mental capacity to think for themselves and also understand the difference between those who want favors and the ones that have the good of our country at stake.
