Famous Latino actress Eva Longoria has left the country in the wake of Donald Trump’s landslide victory.
“The shocking part is not that he won,” Longoria told Marie Claire in an interview for its November cover story conducted two days after Trump triumphed in the presidential race.
“It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office,” said Longoria, who campaigned for Vice President Harris and spoke at the Democratic National Convention in August.
“I would like to think our fight continues,” the former “Desperate Housewives” star said. But, “If he keeps his promises … it’s going to be a scary place.”
The Flamin’ Hot director, who was born in Texas, has long split her time between countries, living in both Spain and Mexico, according to the publication.
“I’m privileged,” Longoria said.
“I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”

For two reasons I feel sorry for her:
1. She is so wealthy that she is giving no thought to those she is leaving behind to fend for themselves without her help to avoid the harms she supposes will fall upon them. That is a really selfish person.
2. She is so gullible that she believes all the trash her fellow conspirators have dished out about Donald Trump.
I will not say I am sorry to see her go, only that I am sorry that she will still be able to make money on the backs of Americans while she is gone. And mark my words, unfortunately, she will be back.

I voted for Trump because after four years of Democrat rule, I want a country with borders, one not overrun by illegals, one not plagued with crime and drug cartels; one without high inflation, and one without a government that feeds this country lie after lie via major news outlets. We are not doing great. Trump’s alleged “crimes” were no greater than Biden’s “dealings” with China and other foreign countries that apparently netted him great profits. In 2023, Ted Cruz spoke against the double standard of justice in America, where Joe Biden stole classified documents in his days as a US senator and Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information on her private email server yet both were given passes because they were loyal Democrats. The far left, even with all of their money, could not convince the majority of American people in 2024 with the lie that the middle class and below are not struggling. I personally feel that the Democrats have been trying to create a socialistic society, later to be followed by a society like Russia and China, one where all of the money and power is at the top and all the working class are at the bottom — no middle class and few people with Christian faith and morals. As for Eva Longoria and her ilk, I am very happy that they are rich enough to leave this country. Maybe then we can return to a country of “by and for the (American) people”.
