On Monday, President Trump signaled he plans to designate Antifa and other far-left “radical groups” as domestic terror organizations.
Trump was asked, “Do you plan on designating Antifa finally a domestic terror organization?” to which the president responded, “Well, it’s something I would do, yeah. If I have support from the people back here– I think we’d start with Pam, I think. But I would– if you give me– I would do that 100%, and others also, by the way. But Antifa is terrible.”
Trump then added that there were “other groups” he would also consider designating as domestic terror organizations, remarking, “They have some pretty radical groups and they got away with murder.”
“Also, I’ve been speaking to the attorney general about bringing RICO against some of the people that you’ve been reading about that have been putting up millions and millions of dollars for agitation,” he concluded. “These aren’t protests, these are crimes what they’re doing.”
Trump received renewed calls to go after Antifa – which has a lengthy history of engaging in violence – following the assassination of Kirk at Utah Valley University last week.
While the suspected assassin– Tyler Robinson – had no known ties to Antifa, he did etch several anti-fascist slogans onto his bullet casings, including, “Hey fascist! White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller vowed to “identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy” any “left-wing organizations that are promoting violence” and the “vast domestic terror movement” on Monday.
Vice President JD Vance also promised to “go after the NGO network that foments, facilitates, and engages in violence,” declaring, “Violence is not okay in our system, and we want to make it less likely it happens.

Over the past five years, Antifa‐affiliated individuals and supporters have been involved in several high-profile violent incidents, including the killing of Aaron Danielson in Portland in August 2020. That occurred after clashes between a pro-Trump caravan and counter-protesters; Michael Reinoehl, who had publicly identified with the Antifa ideology, admitted to shooting Danielson and was later killed by federal law enforcement.
Additionally, in 2021 the U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon stated that Antifa caused over $2.3 million in damages to federal property in Oregon during riots, not counting damage to state or private property.
More recently, allegations of arson, vandalism, and attacks on federal law enforcement have been tied to Antifa-aligned groups. In early 2025, for example, federal prosecutors charged 17 people for violent activity associated with attempts to attack and burn down an ICE facility in Portland on July 4. These actions allegedly involved setting fires, confronting federal officers, and destroying property.

Do it! Punishment must be a deterrent for these people who assassinate people in the USA. And the dimwit nitwits can take full responsibility for these assassins. The GOP side of this equation does not provide people assassinating anyone, only the dimwit nitwits! Think on that! Who actually incites this type of persona in their verbiage?
I heard this live. Antifa is a single organization. No matter where they appear, they are dressed alike, carry the signs, and chant the same crap. I like both ideas, especially the RICO part. The left has tried to use it on organizations on the right, so turnabout is FAIR play.
NTIFA is no different from Islamic Terrorism. Islam’s many terrorist groups are really like Antifa just a single organization. ANTIFA and ISLAM tries to use it on organizations in the world on the on the right. So designating ANTIFA as a group akin to Islamic Terrorism is about time.
