Videos circulating on social media showed journalists being swiftly moved into the press briefing room as agents secured the perimeter. Roughly 15 minutes later, authorities issued an all-clear, easing immediate concerns.
In a statement posted on X, the Secret Service confirmed it was responding to an officer-involved shooting at the scene. One individual was shot by law enforcement, though their condition remains unknown.
