Pro-war Russian propaganda, in collusion with the governing body of the Russian Armed Forces, is claiming that Russian troops were deliberately poisoned by Ukraine.
Russian-controlled international news station Russia Today reported traces of Botulinum toxin Type B were found in samples taken from Russian soldiers stationed near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Ukraine vehemently denies the baseless accusations and Kiyv says the poisoning could have been caused by eating expired canned meat.
Observers fear the bellicose claims by the Kremlin and its allies could be used by Russian leader Vladimir Putin to justify the use of chemical weapons.
The Daily Mail reports:
The Russian Ministry’s report did not say how many servicemen had suffered or what their condition was now. It did not say what the ‘supporting evidence’ was.
Botulinum toxin type B is a neurotoxin that can cause botulism when ingested in previously contaminated food products, but it can also have medical uses.
Ukraine’s interior ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko said: ‘The department (Russian defence ministry) does not clarify whether the poisoning could have been caused by expired canned meat, in which botulinum toxin is often found.
‘Overdue rations have been massively complained about by the occupying forces since the first days of the invasion of Ukraine.’
Both countries say the other is preparing for a false flag attack.

Russian Troops Were poisoned, but they did it to themselves. While holding the Chernobyl power plant, they dug trenches and other earthing structures in the Contaminated soils around the powerplant. They took NO precautions or inquired about conditions in and around the power plant. This IS the powerplant that was the site of the worse nuclear reactor failure in world history. Contaminated materials were buried in the area around the plant and that is ware the Russian Troops set up camp.
In short, they poisoned themselves.
