Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz may be in serious trouble.
Yesterday, a former girlfriend of Gaetz testified before a federal grand jury investigating him for alleged sex crimes.

Reporters first spotted the woman and her attorney entering a federal courthouse in Orlando.
Prosecutors consider Gaetz’s ex, a former congressional staffer he met in 2017, a key witness.
She is reportedly in talks for an immunity deal.

The ex-girlfriend, whose name is being withheld by NBC News to respect her privacy, has been in talks for months with prosecutors about an immunity deal. Under a possible deal, she would avoid prosecution for obstruction of justice in return for testifying in the investigation into whether Gaetz in 2017 had sex with a 17-year-old female for money and whether months later he and others violated a federal law prohibiting people from transporting others across state lines to engage in prostitution.
Legal sources familiar with the case say Gaetz is being investigated for three distinct crimes: sex trafficking the 17-year-old; violating the Mann Act, which prohibits taking women across state lines for prostitution; and obstructing justice.
Gaetz has not been charged with a crime and maintains his innocence. Neither Gaetz nor the Department of Justice has responded to requests for comment.
The investigation into Gaetz has lasted for more than a year and began when a former friend and ally of his, former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg, was charged with a host of crimes — from falsely smearing a political rival as being a pedophile to cheating taxpayers in a cryptocurrency scheme to sex-trafficking the same 17-year-old in the Gaetz investigation.
Greenberg has agreed to plead guilty to six of the charges against him and is cooperating with federal investigators, NBC News has previously reported.

As long as Swalwell sits on the House Intelligence Committee after being caught with a Chinese spy, this can only be a politically motivated witch hunt. But look at what other atrocities these traitors have put America through, the Russian Collusion Hoax, two impeachments for nothing, the Jan6 protestors being persecuted in political prison. I have no doubt that Matt Gaetz got into some situation that allowed this to occur but after two years of riots where pretty much everybody got off Scott free and five years of the political persecution of Donald Trump, I don’t see how the democrats can even show their faces in public. They really are shameless.
I absolutely agree. This is a witch hunt in a two tiered system where the Democrats do the most heinous crimes and nothing happens but they go after high profile Conservative Republicans and either manufacture or blow up something to destroy them. The Democrats are afraid of Republicans like Matt Gaetz because he’s very vocal & makes a lot of sense.
