Of course, Trump would first have to win reelection.
The former president first floated the idea at a rally in Texas over the weekend.
“If I run and I win, we will treat those people from January 6th fairly,” Trump said. “We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly.” (RELATED: Jan. 6 Committee Probe Aimed At Trump Proves…What?)
Appearing on CBS’ Sunday morning news program “Face the Nation,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called Trump’s remarks “inappropriate” before elaborating. “I don’t want to send any signal that it was OK to defile the Capitol.”

Other Republicans appeared equally dismayed.

As Mediaite reports:
The issue of how Jan. 6 defendants are being treated centers largely around approximately 40 individuals being detained without bail in the District of Columbia jail, according to the New York Times. The Times reported that through their lawyers some have expressed concerns over lack of food and water, threats from guards, and sewage.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) also criticized the conditions of the D.C. jail after after visiting in November.
More than 750 people have been arrested in connection to Jan. 6, with the majority either awaiting trials or working toward plea agreements. According to TIME, the median sentence received is 45 days, and some with low-level offenses have been sentenced to home detention, or required to pay fines and serve community service.
“What that un-select committee is doing and what the people are doing that are running those prisons, it’s a disgrace,” Trump said. “It’s a disgrace.”

This might need to be done on an individual basis, bcuz I don’t know the intent of all who were involved, but I do know that there were many who were urged to enter the Capital who were totally unaware of any wrong doing. Many that entered that day, like the twin 70 yr old grandmothers who just thought the Capital was open for the public to go in and browse. They had no clue they were doing anything illegal. The doors were unlocked, other people entering, security was waving them on in, so they just thought, hey, the Capital is open today, let’s go take a look. They were merely just following others going in. There were many who entered that day just to go view the Capital who have been brutally embarrassed by the FBI who have come to their homes at early hours of the morning with an entourage of sirens blaring to put on a show of a SWAT type arrest, just to make a spectacle of them. As to say, this is what will happen to anyone who is a Trump supporter, and gets out of line. Many have been arrested this way and are serving unjust time in jail. I know there were some who were inciting this horrible atrocity, and they should be justly punished, but I feel it was a small number compared to those who’ve been made to look like hardened criminals. Yes, it was done at our nations Capital and it was wrong, and it should have never happened. But for the innocent ones, that got caught in the middle. It’s awful to see what many of the innocent people have been through. Some have had to pay exorbitant fines, some horrible persecution, others are still horrendous incarceration environments, like they were a serial killer. There was one innocent life that was taken. Yes, that is horrible and should have never happened, but it has been portrayed as being like a holocaust. When it doesn’t even come close to the thousands of innocent lives that were murdered in our streets these past couple of years in our nation, much less the livelihoods, vehicles & business that were destroyed in what some what to portray as peaceful protest. The vast majority of those perpetrators are home free, bearing very little, to no punishment and continue to destroy innocent lives. The false narratives the media portrays is so sad. You really have to do your research to find the truth these days. If you don’t believe me, watch the Capital Punishment video. It’s an eye opener.
I have always believed that the Dems and the police were in cahoots with each other and I believe that any Republican that believes it was wrong for the people to demonstrate has no right to represent me. You losers that support Republicans that speak out of both sides of their mouths are just as guilty as they are. Think. Think. Get your brain out of your rectums. If you love America as it used to be. do something.
Jan 6 was a set up. The feds murdered Babbit and treated trespassers like war criminals while allowing BLM and Antifa to burn loot and kill people with most not being charged.
Absolutely pardon them.
