New information has confirmed suspicions the Biden administration involved itself in the unprecedented FBI raid of former President Donald Trump‘s home despite previous reports that its officials were “stunned” to find out about the raid via social media.
“The evidence further suggests that Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people,” said Reed D. Rubinstein, America First Legal senior counselor and director of oversight and investigations, on Tuesday. “This government, it seems, acknowledges no limits on its power to harass, intimidate, and silence its political opponents.”
According to Fox News, Rubinstein’s comments come after a Freedom of Information Act(FOIA) request by America First Legal found the FBI initially obtained access to Trump records through a “special access request” from the Biden admin.
Records show that John Laster, “the Archives’ official responsible for administering all access requests for Presidential records,” was involved in the request despite the Archives’ previously claiming it had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation.”
“On October 25, 2022, Acting Archivist Wall wrote to then-Ranking Members James Comer and Jim Jordan, claiming ‘NARA received the 15 boxes from President Trump on January 18, 2022, and then discovered that they contained classified national security information. Shortly after the discovery, NARA consulted with its Office of Inspector General (OIG), which operates independently of NARA. As DOJ has disclosed publicly in court filings, NARA’s OIG subsequently referred the matter to DOJ on February 9, 2022,’” America First Legal wrote.
“If the OIG acted independently in making a referral to the FBI, then Mr. Laster would not have involved himself in the FBI’s review of the 15 boxes in his capacity as the Director of the White House Liaison Division ‘responsible for all access requests for Presidential records.’”
In August, FBI agents carried out a search of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago premises as part of an ongoing investigation into Trump’s handling of presidential documents, including classified ones that were taken to his Florida residence after leaving the White House. In a statement blasting the raid, Trump said that agents “even broke into my safe.”
The Justice Department is investigating Trump’s actions in two separate probes, one concerning his handling of documents which many argue flouted presidential records law and the other involving the attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election, culminating with the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

It’s scary that with impunity a political entity and bureaucratic groups who should not be political in anything they are involved in can keep on and on after one man – and with all our tax millions and their best efforts haven’t found one thing they can “Hang on Trump”! And yet they never pay any price for their lying, law breaking, setting up frames to coerce and intimidate – they just keep going to the next trap they think they can spring and again with no fear of paying the piper EVER!!!???? I’m so reminded of the quote (I think out of WWII) not exact “they came for that one, but I was not that one and so I said nothing; they came for this one, but I was not this one, and so I said nothing they came for them, but I was not them and so I said nothing . . . then they came for me”! Unless there is true justice, no one is safe, if there is not justice for all, equally, there is no assured justice for any of us!
What can we do when the heads of our federal government, including the DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, et al, and the President and the leadership of the Senate, plus many of the appellate judges, are all thoroughly corrupt? I haven’t seen a workable solution to this in the Constitution.
