Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) trended online last night after he tweeted if there’s a Brutus or a “more successful” Claus von Stauffenberg in Russia who’s ready to “take this guy out.”
Graham was referring to Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Brutus was the most famous of Julius Caesar’s assassins and Colonel Stauffenberg attempted to kill Hitler with a bomb at the Wolf’s Lair in the hopes of ending World War II.
In a subsequent tweet Graham added that “the only people who can fix this are the Russian people,” doubling down on his earlier call for Putin’s assassination.

“Easy to say, hard to do. Unless you want to live in darkness for the rest of your life, be isolated from the rest of the world in abject poverty, and live in darkness you need to step up to the plate,” Graham said.
Graham is not the first conservative American figure to call for Putin’s assassination in the week since Russia launched an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Fox News host Sean Hannity floated the idea that Putin should be assassinated during a March 2 episode of his podcast, “The Sean Hannity Show.”
Some Russians, too, have advocated for a regime change in their homeland. Businessman and US-based crypto investor Alex Konanykhin put a $1 million bounty on Putin’s head this week, calling for military officers to arrest him as a war criminal.
The lumbering Russian invasion of Ukraine made significant gains on Thursday, particularly in the south of the country. The conflict, which has claimed thousands of lives on both sides, has escalated with the indiscriminate targeting of civilians by Russian forces.
Many suspect that Russia’s burgeoning war is about to enter a terrifying new chapter.

I am 100% in favor of eliminating Putin! Of course! We may not be “at war”, but we very well could be in the future if he is allowed to continue with his brutal take-over of other countries. He is a terrorist and is a danger to the world order. Remove him …. permanently!
Lindsy Graham is one of many talk big but hide under table. These people like him are many in our system like the indian says white man talk out of 2 sides of mouth. Check his record a number of times he voted with Schumer & Pelosi on money matters that have effected us.
As a South Carolinian, I know Graham is ALL talk when the Repugs are OUT of power and like Hiding Biden when in power. I have voted for him in the past, but will do everything I can to help get him primaried out in 4 years. He ASSumes we will forget.
I suppose if you rid the world of little Hitler than you would do the world a great favor, and the Russian people, and Ukrainian people and what ever nation he decides to invade next.
I absolutely agree. No “one man” should have to power to unleash such violence on a peaceful nation… totally unprovoked. He should be taken out immediately so the entire operation can be stopped! Praying for a Russian brave enough to sacrifice himself.

Putin must absolutely be “taken out!”
And it must be his own generals that do the deed!
