A New York judge succinctly rejected former President Donald Trump’s request for a trial delay.
Trump’s legal team sought to postpone the civil trial brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D). James’ civil fraud lawsuit seeks to bar Trump and three of his children, Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric, from leading the Trump Organization and fine Trump $250 million.
From the bench at the New York State Supreme Court Building on Wednesday, Justice Arthur Engoron wrote the following nine words at the bottom of the draft order submitted by Trump’s attorneys: “Decline to sign; Defendants’ arguments are completely without merit.”
Engoron previously held Trump in civil contempt over his compliance with a subpoena issued in December 2021 by the Attorney General James’ office.

James’ civil investigation parallels Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s criminal investigation of the Trump Organization.
Both James and Bragg are Democrats. James stunned the political world last year when she abandoned her campaign for governor to focus on the investigations and cases under her supervision. Even though two leading prosecutors in its case against Trump recently resigned, Bragg’s office has continued its criminal investigation.
The New York Attorney General alleges Trump fraudulently inflated the value of his real estate holdings to find investors and subsequently deflated them to secure tax and loan benefits.
Besides Trump and his adult children, defendants include the Trump Organization, other Trump-affiliated businesses and two longtime executives, ex-Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg and Weisselberg’s lieutenant, Jeff McConney.
James’ lawsuit came after she rejected an offer from Trump’s legal team to settle the civil investigation into his business.
The trial is set to start Oct. 2.

Unfortunately, it will be extremely difficult for US to “stop this BS”, for the simple reason most of our “esteemed leaders” in the GOP, are extremely COMPLICITE, in ALL the gyrations of the left-wing democommies. And any democrat, who claims to be moderate (and possibly is) doesn’t have the guts to stand up and say “ENOUGH”! As for the GOP, there are a “few” good meaning, well intended individuals, but I fear, not enough to overcome the egregious actions of the rest.
If voters would just stop and do the research, on individual candidates, BEFORE they cast their votes, it would help solve some of the problem. Unfortunately, too few voters understand politicians “talk a good game”, but they only say what they think their audience wants to hear; what they say and what they do are, all too often, exactly opposite from reality. So I say “Do the research” first; see what their voting record says about the candidate, before you make up your mind “who” you really want speaking for you. The voting record, most often, does NOT match the verbosity. How they voted yesterday, or last year, is exactly how they will vote next year – – -is that vote something WE want?
Use imagination. It’s available. Have to make a key example.
So typical of these corrupt NEW YORK Democratic-appointed judges, they are a total disgrace to the rule and to of law and America but are totally in line with the corrupt BIDEN Departments of INJUSTICE.

This Judge is evil and should not even wear the robe of a judge. She is psychotic and needs to be behind bars. I have no respect for her or anyone who supports her. She is totally unamerican.
