ANALYSIS– Democrats are rapidly descending to obscene levels in their race to prove who can help women kill their unborn babies faster. And for now, New York City Mayor Eric Admas, with help from Joe Biden, seems to be in the lead.
According to the Democrat mayor, New York City health-care providers will prescribe and deliver medical abortion pills “on demand” after virtual and phone appointments.
This, despite the inherent dangers of providing scared and vulnerable women as young as 18 do-it-yourself (DIY) abortion kits.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under Joe Biden eliminated the safety standards for abortion drugs and allowed women to receive them without an in-person doctor visit.
The “Virtual Express Care” program, operated by the New York City-run Health +Hospitals system, will be the first-of-its-kind program in the country, reported the New York Post.
Meanwhile, a 2021 peer-reviewed study conducted by the pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute found the rate of emergency room visits after a chemical abortion increased by over 500% from 2002 through 2015.
In the chemical abortion process, Mifepristone tablets are used with another pill, misoprostol, to kill the unborn baby within the first 11 weeks of being conceived. In New York City, women up to 10 weeks pregnant are reportedly eligible to receive the self-abortion kits.
Sounding like a morbid TV food delivery salesman, Adams extolled the ease and convenience of the killing kits, saying: “Access to abortion care will now be available through telehealth visits at NYC Health + Hospitals sites from the comfort of one’s home.”
And, of course Hizzoner used conservatives and the Supreme Court’s ruling last year against a federal right to an abortion, as the excuse for making abortion as easy as ordering pizza.
The Court decision returned abortion, like most life and death decisions in America, to the states.
“Here in New York City, we will not allow the far right to continue its crusade to strip women of their reproductive rights,” Adams said in a release.
Adam’s politically motivated policy will likely increase the number of women dying due to complications from these express at-home abortion kits.
A 24-year-old Nevada woman recently died after purchasing DIY abortion drugs from a Planned Parenthood facility that produced a deadly septic abortion.

According to the Merck Manual, “Septic abortions usually result from use of nonsterile techniques for uterine evacuation after induced or spontaneous abortion. Septic abortions are much more common after induced abortion done by untrained practitioners (or the pregnant woman herself) and without adequate surgical equipment and sterile preparation.”
According to The Post: “Katie Daniel, state policy director for the pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, called for an investigation into the woman’s death.”
“Not only Alyona Dixon’s family but the American people deserve answers. Any woman considering taking abortion pills must at least receive accurate medical information, not abortion lobby PR designed to maximize profits,” Daniel told The Christian Post in a statement.
“Yet Nevada’s radical pro-abortion laws lack almost any protections for babies in the womb or their mothers,” she continued.
Beyond that, Daniel said: “Abortion pills are dangerous and do not belong on the market.”
Since June 2022 Nevada outrageously allows abortion up to 24 weeks (six months) and beyond in some instances, another example of the abortion pushers’ race to the bottom.
