Leftist Teachers Union Official Targets Rich Jews For ‘Class War’

ANALYSIS – In various unhinged social media posts, an antisemitic neo-Marxist “educator” called her well-off Jewish neighbors in the far-left enclave of Montgomery County, Maryland, where she resides, “gluttons and thieves” and called for “class war” against them.

Angela Wolf, head of the English Language Development department at Takoma Park Middle School, also claimed on Facebook that the wealthy Jews in her county hoarded wealth while contributing nothing to society. Montgomery County, Maryland is just outside our nation’s capital of Washington, D.C.

To me, her hateful tirade is a direct product of the far-left Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) movement infecting our schools and society. DEI is a prominent component of Wolf’s teacher’s union, the Montgomery County Education Association (MCEA), where she serves on the board.

As The Daily Wire reported:

Her union is a far-Left organizing group with a heavy focus on race and diversity, equity and inclusion. There are indications that anti-Jewish sentiment is baked into DEI, including in Montgomery County Public Schools. DEI often casts whites as “settlers” and “colonizers” of America, and paints Jews in a similar light.

The Daily Wire referred to some of Wolf’s screeds:

Her Facebook posts included a drawing of an Israeli tank pointing a tank’s gun at babies in a hospital NICU and saying “enemy in sight!” As the war wages against the Hamas terrorists who murdered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7, she has posted frequently against Israel. On November 16, she commended “bus operators at Dulles who refused to transport Zionists to the pro-Israel rally,” adding that “their solidarity with the victims of Israeli genocide should be commended.”

In December 2020, well before the Oct. 7 Hamas attack and subsequent war, Wolf also posted a nonsensical anti-Jewish screed on Facebook, targeting several billionaire Jews in Montgomery County as villains.

She said at the time that Dan Snyder, worth $2.6 billion, Bernard Saul [not Jewish despite common Jewish name] worth $3.2 billion, David Rubenstein, worth $3.4 billion, Ted Lerner, worth $4.8 billion, and Michael Rales, worth $5.6 billion, didn’t invent “anything useful” or “have done a damn thing to further the needs of communities.”

She was heavily criticized for her post. But The Daily Wire noted, she deflected and doubled down on her ignorant hate:

In response to criticism, she claimed — referring to the group of people with names like Rubenstein — that she had “no idea these billionaires are Jewish or that my word choice had an [sic] historic significance for the Jewish community. The diatribe against these two words has turned the discussion into a fallacious attack … People are angry at teachers or a particular politician or the poor. I have read no attacks on the 1% … who have NOT ‘earned’ ‘their wealth.’”

While Wolf has since been removed from the school she was teaching at catering to immigrant children, she still appears as a board member of the far-left MCEA. This is one of the largest local teacher’s union in America, representing 14,000 educators and staff.
