UPDATE:
Police have reportedly found the deceased suspect in what NBC News described as a “sniper-style attack” in Washington, D.C. on Friday.
Officers found his body in a nearby apartment building late Friday.
The chief of the Metropolitan Police Department wouldn’t identify the suspect but said they are no longer looking for Raymond Spencer. Sources close to the department say investigators believe Spencer acted alone.

A mass shooting occurred in Washington, D.C. earlier today. A gunman injured three adults and one child in the capital’s Van Ness neighborhood.
Local authorities quickly placed a nearby school under lockdown as police swarmed the area.
The manhunt for the suspect continues tonight, but police have since identified a person of interest: Raymond Spencer, 23.
Police determined Spencer may have participated in the shooting based on his recent social media activity.
Washington Metropolitan Police Department Assistant Chief Stuart Emerman had a straightforward message for Spencer, as WTOP reports:
Emerman urges Spencer to come forward and turn himself in so that they may question him.
Emerman also identified a fourth victim, a woman in her mid 60s, with a “graze wound” to her upper back. She was treated at the scene and did not go to the hospital.
The other victims, a man in his 50s, a woman in her mid 30s and a 12-year-old girl, are “stable,” Emerman said. The two adults had critical injuries and the girl had minor injuries.
A police spokesperson told WTOP one of the victims was found outside the Edmund Burke School, which is was put on lockdown. Emerman said they beginning to reunify them with parents at the family reunification site that has been set up at the Cleveland Park Library at 3310 Connecticut Ave.
