Poll: Most Americans Concerned About Criminals Crossing Border

ANALYSIS – Over 75% of Americans polled are very worried about killers, rapists and other criminal foreigners coming into the U.S. illegally across our southern border. And this surprising number includes a lot of Democrats.

While there is a partisan difference in attitudes, 90% of Republicans are worried about dangerous offenders crashing our border, an overwhelming 69% of Democrats say they feel the same way.

Only a fifth of those polled said they were not concerned by illegal foreigner criminals, and 3% said they were not sure.

This, as high-profile cases of foreigners here illegally committing violent crimes, including murder and assaults on police, increasingly fill our newsfeeds. Among the victims is Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia, who was allegedly murdered by a Venezuelan in the country illegally.

Then there is Ruby Garcia, 25, who was murdered by her boyfriend, Brandon Ortiz-Vite, 25, who is in our country illegally from Mexico. He faces charges of felony murder, open murder, carjacking, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm possession.

And most Americans have seen the video of illegals viciously attacking NYPD cops in Manhattan.

There are also the scenes of total criminal disarray in New York, Denver, Chicago and other overstretched Democrat-run “sanctuary cities” that many illegals go to or are sent to after entering the U.S. illegally.

Despite the strongly bipartisan concern among voters, Republicans are leading the fight to address the issue, rightfully blaming Joe Biden and his merry band of leftist Democrats for the serious problem.

As the Daily Mail reported: Pennsylvania GOP Congressman Dan Meuser said this week it was time to get tough on criminal migrants. “The Biden Administration's failed border policies have created a deadly crisis,” the Republican posted.

“We have migrant crime, drugs poisoning our youth, human trafficking, and now, squatting.”

Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee (RNC) earlier this month launched a website called “BidenBloodbath.com” that highlights various serious crimes involving illegal aliens.

The site features recent data related to the border crisis, and people can sign up to be messaged when crimes occur.

“Biden created the worst border crisis in U.S. history by unleashing his open-border policies. He has emboldened illegal aliens and cartels as the invasion at the southern border continues at a breakneck pace,” the website says.

“Biden could end this crisis today if he wanted to, by reversing his executive actions or by supporting House-passed legislation. He refuses to,” it says. “We must win back the White House to secure the border. A vote for Biden is a vote to allow criminals to invade our nation and attack Americans.”

And Donald Trump is at the head of the effort to highlight Joe Biden's role in producing this foreigner crime wave, warning of Biden's “border bloodbath.”

ABC News reported:

“It's destroying our country,” Trump, joined by some law enforcement and local officials, said at a press conference-style “messaging event” in Grand Rapids, Michigan, echoing what has become a key campaign attack on his rival's immigration policies.

“It's a very bad thing happening,” Trump argued. “It's going to end on the day that I take office, which will be Jan. 20.”

“Every state is now a border state, every town is now a border town,” he said. “Because Joe Biden has brought the carnage and chaos and killing from all over the world and dumped it straight into our backyards.”

The DailyMail.com/TIPP poll of 1,432 voters was conducted earlier this month. It has a +/-2.7 percent error margin. It was carried out earlier this month by TIPP, which is noted for the accuracy of its polls.
