Defending Our Flag On Campuses Against Pro-Hamas ‘Marxist Hordes’

ANALYSIS – Outraged Americans have recently witnessed anti-American, pro-Hamas “terrorists” replace the American flag with Palestinian flags during occupations of various university campuses across the country.

These radicals have also defaced statues of George Washington in Washington, D.C. This, at George Washington University (GW). (RELATED: UCLA Students Clash After Video Allegedly Shows Jewish Girl Beaten Unconscious)

Even Democrats are angry. New York City major Eric Adams said it was “despicable” that U.S. schools would allow another country's flag to fly on their campuses.

Adams also defended the New York Police Department (NYPD) after hundreds of officers in riot gear broke up pro-Hamas protests on Columbia University's campus.

After clearing the protesters, NYPD also dramatically removed the foreign Palestinian flag at City College, throwing it to the ground, and replaced it with Old Glory as seen in the video below.

“An incredible scene and proud moment as we have assisted @CityCollegeNY in restoring order on campus, culminating in raising Old Glory once again on their campus flagpole.”

Police officers at University of North Carolina (UNC) also raised Old Glory over the campus after radicals replaced it with Palestinian flag.

Meanwhile, some patriotic American students have taken matters into their own hands defending the flag of our country.

The UNC chancellor also took down the Palestinian flag and re-flew the U.S. flag as Pi Kappa Phi, and other fraternity members then protected the flagpole. After their actions, a GoFundMe page raised more than $260,000 for the fraternity brothers.

“Commie losers across the country have invaded college campuses to make dumb demands of weak University Administrators,” the GoFundMe page said. “But amidst the chaos, the screaming, the antisemitism, the hatred of faith and flag, stood a platoon of American heroes… [who] protected Old Glory from the unwashed Marxist horde.”

Among the donors to this great cause, billionaire Bill Ackman. “William Ackman” gifted UNC-Chapel Hill's Pi Kappa Phi fraternity $10,000 for protecting the Star-Spangled Banner…”

Enduring insults, middle fingers and flying water bottles, about a dozen fraternity brothers stood their ground around the American flag at the University of North Carolina on Tuesday.

“These people wanted to tear down the flag, and we were there to protect it,” Pi Kappa Phi member Brendan Rosenblum told NewsNation's “On Balance.” “Me and my friends did not allow that to happen.”

The standoff began when pro-Palestinian protestors raised the Palestinian flag on the pole. UNC Chancellor Lee Roberts, accompanied by police officers, took it down and re-hung the U.S. flag, which was flying at half-staff in honor of the law enforcement officers killed Monday in Charlotte.

When Roberts left and protesters tried again to take down the American flag, Rosenblum, some of his fraternity brothers and other students stepped in. They surrounded the flagpole, and kept the big flag from touching the ground. Rosenblum also held an Israeli flag.

Fox News reported that a North Carolina-Chapel Hill student said he would have protected the American flag with his “dead body,'” adding: “They're going to have to tear me off. this flag.” (RELATED: ‘Numerous' Police Officers Struck By Gunfire In Crime Scene Standoff)

At Harvard University protesters raised a Palestinian flag briefly, over the weekend, before it was taken down by university staff. A spokesperson for Harvard said that those involved “will be subject to disciplinary action.” 

This also occurred at UCLA in southern California.
