It happened just before 6 pm on Monday evening. Authorities say two men and a woman pulled up to the home in a stolen Infinity Q40. A witness told police the three went onto the property and that one of the men had a crowbar. That witness then reported hearing a gunshot.
The following news clips have been compiled and then narrated for legal context by Colion Noir.
The news reporter explains, “I’ve learned from court documents that, according to the police, officers arrived and found a homeowner pointing a stolen 357 Colt Python revolver at the female suspect. That woman told police the homeowner had shot her friend. Police say they found the other (male) suspect at the scene with a replica gun and arrested him on suspicion of burglary.”
No charges were initially filed against the homeowner pending a review by the Alameda County DA’s officer.

At an unrelated news conference, Alameda County DA Pamela Price said no assumptions should be made just because the homeowner is in jail. Prosecutors have until Thursday to decide whether to charge him.

Why is this man in jail but not charged? I suppose the real perps were released without bond. Say a prayer for all of them…the innocent and the guilty.
“Shall not be infringed”
“Stolen 357” pistol. I have a hunch that is the issue, not gun rights. Not the first time someone defended themselves with an illegally obtained firearm and was prosecuted for having tbe illegally obtained firearm because, wait for it -it’s a crime.
