ANALYSIS – And could America be next? Or is that just scaremongering hype? The current unrest in Britain is the direct result of allowing massive waves of migrants, legal and illegal, into the country, many of whom never assimilate.
This especially true when the migrants come illegally and unvetted from third world countries with extremely different norms, social values and religions. We have the same problem in the U.S.
Those from Islamic countries pose a unique challenge. When two or more widely divergent cultures are forced to coexist, the risk of civil war skyrockets as the native population's anger and resentment justifiably grows.
Despite criticism, Elon Musk has doubled down on comments posted to X that the U.K. is on the verge of “civil war” after more than a week of right-wing riots.
This could be the beginning of that now in the U.K. And could point to a flashpoint for something similar in the United States.
Riots have swept Britain for the past week as crowds ranting anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim slogans clash with police over social media misinformation about a knife attack in Southport that killed three innocent young girls at a dance party, and left five in critical conditions
While initial reports incorrectly described the murderer as a Muslim “asylum” seeker, it turned out that he was 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana, the son of Rwandan immigrants, not a recent arrival. Still, the cultural issues remain.
And the media has done its part to avoid or ignore the killer's immigrant roots or his religion. It has been reported that his family was Christian, but no one knows his religious beliefs, if he has any.
All the photos shown of him in the media are from when he was nine years old.
Meanwhile, the media and left-wing politicians and activists call the demonstrations and riots racist and far-right, but Brits seem to distinguish between the two types of protests.
According to a YouGov poll only 8% of Brits sympathize with the rioters.
However, the same poll shows that sympathies with the views of those taking part in the bigger peaceful protests are far broader – six in ten Britons (58%) say they have a great deal or fair amount of sympathy for the views of those peacefully taking part in anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim demonstrations.
Interestingly, this includes majorities of Labour and Lib Dem voters (53-56%), as well as two-thirds of Conservatives (64%), with Reform voters are most sympathetic at 83%.
Some 6,000 British police braced for further anti-Muslim riots on Wednesday (Aug. 7, 2024) following reports of more than 100 planned far-right events to target asylum centers and immigration law firms across the country, prompting anti-fascist protesters to organize some 30 counter-protests.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the new leader from the Labour Party, a former chief prosecutor who is facing his first crisis since winning a July 4 election, has warned rioters they will face lengthy jail terms. So far, police have arrested 428 people and charged 120.
After an emergency meeting with ministers and police chiefs on Tuesday, Starmer said police would be in place to cope with any further disorder.
“Our first duty is to ensure our communities are safe,” Starmer said. “Anybody involving themselves in this disorder is going to feel the full force of the law,” he added.
Unfortunately, the only “communities” he is concerned about are the immigrant ones, many consisting of people in the U.K. illegally. And the “full force of the law” will likely be used only against right-wing rioters, not Muslim ones.
Can we say Jan. 6? Meanwhile, the talk of civil war continues.

Maybe it’s time to admit people of different values, religion, politics, and views on human rights might not coexist very well. Why on Earth would anyone (progressive politicians) continue to exacerbate the issue. Admit it doesn’t work (not racism but oil and vinegar) and stop the experiment. Time to let the people decide their our fate, not a bunch of entitled, elitist bureaucrats.
Sadly, they should have done this way before now, after it’s gotten so far out of hand. So sad. The powers that be want peaceful, little, quiet, completely effectiveless protests which accomplish absolutely NOTHING.
USA has identical problems. ;European countries must blame themselves for accepting Muslims. Kindness has gone too far. All should follow Hungary’s policies!
ALL SCARY……😞🙄🫢
