In a sign of the open weaponization of the federal government by liberals, an investigation reveals that a federal prosecutor nominated by President Joe Biden tried to fix an election by leaking confidential documents to the Democrat nominee, then lied to investigators about it.
A 161-page report from the Office of the Special Counsel alleges Rachael Rollins, the United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, engaged in some of “most egregious transgressions” of federal ethics laws in American history.
Along with accepting unreported free luxury travel and sports tickets and attending a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in her official government capacity, Rollins tried to rig an election for Suffolk County district Aatorney by slipping confidential law enforcement records on the Republican nominee to the Democrat she was supporting.
Federal investigators noted “her repeated efforts to leak non-public DOJ information for the purpose of harming a political candidate rank among the most flagrant violations of the Hatch Act that OSC has ever investigated.”
“The leak was an extraordinary breach of public trust by a senior government official, which threatens to erode confidence in the integrity of federal law enforcement actions,” investigators added.
After being exposed for violating the Hatch Act, which prohibits political activity by federal employees, Rollins resigned her office May 19.
It does not appear she will be prosecuted for her offenses.
“U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins is a walking, talking ethical nightmare. The Department of Justice and U.S. Office of Special Counsel have each determined that Biden-nominated U.S. Attorney Rollins has breached public trust in extraordinary fashion,” said House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., in a statement.
“While in her position, Rollins leaked sensitive DOJ information to influence an election, illegally attended a Democrat fundraiser and deliberately misled investigators under oath. It’s now clear Rollins used her position of power to be a political operative and seemingly transformed her taxpayer-funded office into an arm of the Democratic Party,” Comer added.
“Her resignation can’t come soon enough. Whether it’s the Biden family’s influence peddling or the actions of a U.S. Attorney, this White House continues to turn a blind eye to ethical standards. Americans deserve meaningful oversight, and the Oversight Committee will continue to hold officials accountable at the highest levels of our government,” Comer concluded.

Being allowed to resign without prosecution is in fact among the most egregious crimes possible in this nation. This rotten woman is a felon who should be charged with all the crimes possible under the laws which our current CIC (Coprolite in Chief) tolerates. Further, if possible, she should be sentenced to the maximum time, pay maximum allowed and serve every minute of it.
Few will notice if she’s not punished. All peaceable, lawful citizens will be forced by law to continue chipping in what they now contribute — about $20,000 per year. For oligarchs and communists, it doesn’t make much difference since their take is about the same. Point is, she’ll go free and for the rest of us along with her handlers, it makes no difference. Democrats have many replacements.
It’s as if Democrats trained these members to use tactics to destroy our Constitutional authority – I’m sure 99% of them are hiding similar actions.
