Having already been caught spending campaign funds to pay attorneys in a private lawsuit, Georgia Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock has now been caught using campaign funds to pay $61,000 in child support.

Breitbart reports that, during the 2020 special election, Warnock had been using campaign funds to make child support payments to ex-wife Oulèye Ndoye.
Warnock used campaign donor funds even though he reportedly made $275,000.00 a year as the leader of an Atlanta megachurch, including a $7,417-a-month “housing allowance” in 2021.
But Warnock stopped making payments and Ndoye sued him for “willful contempt” of their childcare agreement, citing the additional six-figure salary he now makes as a U.S. Senator on top of his lavish church salary.
“After Ndoye filed the complaint, which also cited his increased income due to becoming a Senator, Warnock resumed to pay for childcare out of the campaign’s pocket,” Breitbart reports.
“Since 2020, Warnock’s campaign has spent a total of $61,959.40 on childcare, according to FEC filings,” Breitbart notes. It is generally illegal to use campaign funds for personal expenses. Warnock also used campaign funds to pay attorneys to defend him in a suit brought by an Atlanta resident, alleging abuse and targeting dating decades before Warnock ran for office.
The largely incoherent lawsuit was dismissed but Warnock’s decision to use campaign funds, despite his personal wealth and the lawsuit being unrelated to his candidacy, appears to many to defy campaign finance law.

I did it once. I made a lot of money. Corporate Travel Manager for a software company and an Auditor. Both employers were on board with it. But…those jobs weren’t anything like the workload he would have as a senator and a church pastor. Not even comparable. Betcha he isn’t very dedicated to either one.

Somehow, I don’t think actual Georgia voters care about stuff like this, with either Warnock or Walker. Shady child support payments, unknown children, past relationship issues, blah blah blah. People will vote for the Party that better represents their perceived self-interest. Period. It is a pure contest between high inflation/Biden disaster vs permanent loss of abortion rights.
