Is Tucker Carlson Joining The Left Against Israel, Helping Hamas?

-

ANALYSIS – As I noted earlier, , whose conservative view I often support, seems to be increasingly anti- and, indirectly, pro- terrorists. On this issue, he seems to be siding with the far-left.

First, Carlson minimized the brutal atrocities committed by thousands of bloodthirsty Islamist terrorists who butchered 1,400 innocent Israeli men, women and children.

As I wrote about in his previous talk on Twitter Spaces, he quickly blew past that, calling it ‘a ' before he pivoted to hyping the threat of nuclear war if Israel continues its justified effort to defeat Hamas in Gaza. Now, he is doing the same, but more.

In his most recent Twitter talk (now known as X), Carlson, with an intensely serious, almost constipated, look on his face, and his guest, retired U.S. Army Col.  (a staunch conservative, but also Putin toady) mocked the idea that the U.S. was scoring “moral victories” by backing Israel and argued that the Jewish state was committing “war crimes” by bombing military targets in Gaza.

“Well, in our effort to stand at Israel's side and help protect Israel, we have taken a different route and cast moral turpitude to the side. In other words, How do you help one without committing a war crime against the other?” fumed Macgregor.

And they made these claims using leftist language, terminology and talking points.

The Meturgeman, an ‘ultra orthodox Jew' posted: “Tucker & Douglas Macgregor talking about how Israel is committing “war crimes” employs “collective punishment, [is] annihilating Gaza & trying to sweep out its population,” before equating the lives of Hamas's sadistic butchers with the people they killed.”

Yes, that's what he said. McGregor continued:

This is the problem with collective punishment. This is the problem with annihilating Gaza and trying to sweep out its population. That's unacceptable to us as Americans. I don't think if you sat down any of Israel's most ardent supporters in the United States and said, ‘Are you willing to the lives of several hundred thousand people in Gaza for the lives taken in Israel by Hamas?' After all, Hamas and Palestinian Jihad were the fighters. They lost 1,500, there were 3,000 involved in the several waves of the attack. They're dead. Now we're looking at perhaps 5,000 civilians dead. How many more will we witness? Is that somehow or another justified morally?

By downplaying the mass murder committed by Hamas and focusing only on Israel's response, Carlson and Macgregor join far-left commentators and politicians such as Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Mehdi Hasan in claiming that Israel has committed war crimes in its defensive war against Islamists, genocidal, Hamas terrorists.

As Mediaite notes: “The statistics cited by Macgregor about civilian casualties in Gaza come from Hamas.” And those statistics from the terrorists are all grossly exaggerated or outright lies.

He also calls the mass murderers ‘fighters' instead of terrorists. This, even though the U.S., , and many other Western states have designated Hamas as a terrorist organization. Mediaite adds:

It's unclear what Macgregor has that leads him to believe that all of the terrorists involved in planning, preparing for, and carrying out the October 7 attack on Israel are already dead.

At the outset of the Russian war on Ukraine, Macgregor submitted that Russia would win the war within a couple of weeks. He has also spread Russian propaganda by declaring that Vladimir Putin only invaded because Ukrainian military forces were massing at the Russian border and that the Russian leader has taken pains to avoid kill civilians in Ukraine.

As of July, over 9,000 civilians had been killed, and nearly 16,000 had been injured by Russia in Ukraine.

Both Carlson and McGregor argued that eliminating Hamas was unrealistic and again warned that the U.S. was hurtling toward war with Iran and that Turkey and Russia would side with Iran in any wider war.

When will Tucker have the far-left ‘Squad' as guests on his show?
