It will be good for the GOP and good for Trump. As soon as I saw the groundswell of idiotic and ignorant Democrat support for the radical 34-year-old African-born, Jew-hating, Islamist-communist Zohran Mamdani for mayor of New York City, as his first-ever job, I was one of the few who saw his winning as a good thing.
Maybe not good for the Big Apple, but ultimately good for America.
His running NYC into the ground will serve as the best example of what that type of far-left Islamist extremism brings, so let’s just sit back, let him win, and watch people, especially Jews and high-income New Yorkers, leave, and the city burns.
I also argued that President Trump could have no better foil than this smiling radical left-wing Islamist as the leader of America’s most important city, outside Washington, D.C., which is also Trump’s hometown.
What better way to head into the midterms than with an extremist like Mamdani representing Democrats in New York City. With a GDP of around $1.3 trillion, it has an economy bigger than many countries.
As a writer in The Jerusalem Post noted:
A Mamdani victory would be a gift that keeps on giving for Trump, fuel for the next two years, and a potent talking point for the Republican presidential candidate in 2028. The narrative writes itself.
Trump, who correctly calls Mamdani a communist, has vowed to send federal officers and the National Guard to the city and withhold federal funds. In response, Mamdani has warned Trump that he will “be there to fight him” if he “comes after” New York.
Mamdani, who calls himself a Democratic Socialist, and his Syrian-identifying, terrorist supporting wife — along with his cabal of mostly rich white communist advisors — supported by the mini-Soviet politburo of a city council, will likely destroy NYC in very short order.
And Trump will be there to troll and egg Mamdani on all the way, highlighting the stark choice our country is facing, and amplifying his every disaster.
Former New York state governor and independent mayoral candidate, Andrew Cuomo, likely correctly, says Trump is hoping for a Mamdani win.
He wants Mamdani for two reasons. One, going into the midterms, he will take a picture of Mamdani, run around the country and say, ‘Here is what happened to the Democrats. They are now communists. They hate the police. They legalize prostitution, legalize drugs. They want to elect this Democrat, no experience whatsoever — being mayor of New York would be his first real job.
As Charles Gasparino noted in the New York Post of Mamdani: “Let him unleash his creepy, dogmatic socialist policies on the masses to teach them valuable lessons — both economic and cultural — about wokeness and progressivism, and more broadly its stranglehold on the Democratic Party.”
Let him force “woke” brainwashing even deeper into the school children of the city. Let him defund the police as crime is soaring. Let him favor illegal alien foreigners over native New Yorkers, and Muslims over Christians and Jews.
The largest concentration of Jews outside Israel is in NYC, and it is already suffering an explosion of Jew hate. Under Mamdani, it can only become unbearable.
Gasparino added, let Mamdani and his radicals force out profitable businesses and wealthy taxpayers, along with middle and upper middle-class voters. Many are already establishing residency in southern Florida as a failsafe in case of a Mamdani win.
Other affluent city residents are racing to secure homes in the wealthy enclaves of Connecticut and Westchester County.
Many others are moving to the Hamptons or beyond, unwilling to live with even more leftist schools or a socialized economy under Mamdani — his plans include universal childcare, fare-free buses, and city-run grocery stores, all funded by giant tax hikes on corporations and high earners.
So, yes, let Mamdani bankrupt the city with his ignorant and idiotic socialism.
Gasparino ended with:
Let Mamdani win — and prove to New Yorkers and Americans once and for all that there’s a reason communism failed in the Soviet Union, and that the apparatchiks in China have embraced the free market to survive.
Meanwhile, other GOP leaders are coming to the same conclusion.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says a win for Mamdani would benefit Republicans politically, while sadly being bad for the city.
He added that if Mamdani wins, he “will be the most prominent Democrat in America the day he takes office,” so all Americans will then see Mamdani’s “leftist agenda in action and know that his path is the Democrat path nationally.”
DeSantis made the comment when retweeting a post on X by Elon Musk, who said Mamdani “is the future of the Democratic Party.” We can only hope!

I disagree with the thesis, as much as I think it logical and would like it to be true. But logical is absolutely what the leftists are not. I live in Portland, believe me, I know. The worse it gets, the more they place the blame on anyone who disagrees with them and with their policies which are the root cause.. And the people? Remember when they accused conservatives of being blind followers? Dems and leftists are past masters at shaping the narrative. Sadly, we live in the day characterized by the 1950s sci-fi story, “The Marching Morons.”
Mamdani is a lot like our budget deficit. It’s incredibly stupid but our politicians continue to drive it higher and higher, knowing they will collapse the economy. I’ve said all along its no use arguing with these imbeciles about the deficit just wait till the economy collapses.

New Yorkers always have had a yearning to vote for Democrats and the worse the better.I remember when I lived there for 17 years and always the same results on election days.When it got too much of a cesspool the voted for a Republican to clean it up.The all need a Muslim Brotherhood Marxist now to finish NYC for good.
