It’s not a matter of “believing” in your own innocence. You KNOW it, or you KNOW you are not. He is NOT. And he knows it. So do Cheney and the rest of them.
The case law cited also illustrates that there is no such thing as a preemptive pardon. This made up term is an oxymoron. Pardons by definition apply to convictions. Without a conviction there can be no pardon. As pointed out, accepting a pardon IS an admission of guilt to the crime they were convicted. Everything related to pardons becomes meaningless if “preemptive pardons” were an actual thing. Just what crimes are you confessing to have committed?
All Biden’s so called preemptive pardons should be ignored. They are unconstitutional and the courts should strike them down, just like they have so many other unconstitutional acts by Joe Biden were struck down.
Is it possible that all the members of the Biden Family, Fauci, General Milley, and the pampered Cheney are all guilty? How does an entire family so greatly disgrace themselves? Hopefully they move to Another Country. Today’s inauguration was truly impressive, and a breath of fresh air from the four years of Briden.
