Jeffrey Epstein’s estate has handed over a 2003 “birthday book” for Epstein’s 50th birthday to Congress, in response to a subpoena. This book includes a letter bearing Donald Trump’s signature alongside a suggestive drawing.
The letter includes a hand-drawn outline of a nude woman, with typewritten text inside. The signature “Donald” appears positioned to mimic pubic hair.
The message concluded with:
“A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Trump has strongly denied authoring the letter or the drawing, calling the report — first cited by The Wall Street Journal — “false, malicious, and defamatory.” He has also filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Journal, its parent company, and several of its journalists.
That did not stop House Democrats from releasing what they said was a screenshot of the letter.
“HERE IT IS: We got Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn’t exist,” the Democratic minority on the House Oversight Committee posted on X.

CNBC continues:
Taylor Budowich, the deputy White House chief of staff, claimed in an X post Monday afternoon that the signature on the letter to Epstein is not Trump’s. Budowich shared a series of pictures of documents Trump has recently signed in order to suggest that the 2003 signature was not a match.
But a review of Trump’s signature over time reveals that it has evolved significantly. A New York Times report from 2016 about Trump’s letters included several with signatures that much more closely resemble the one in the Epstein letter.
Both Democrats and Republicans on the Oversight panel are investigating records related to Epstein, the wealthy and well-connected financier who killed himself in prison in 2019 while facing federal sex trafficking charges.
Epstein’s estate provided the entire “birthday book” and other documents in response to a subpoena from the committee.
Trump had a falling out with Epstein in the mid-2000s. Still, the connection has created political headaches for both his administration and the Department of Justice.
