Pro-Life Activist Targeted by Latest FBI Raid

-

The has targeted another activist in its witch-hunt.

As President Joe 's Justice Department continues its crackdown on pro-life supporters pro- activists have essentially been given a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Last week, FBI agents stormed Paul Vaughn's home in with guns while his wife and 11 children were in the residence. Vaughn is the president of Personhood Tennessee and had not previously been arrested on any charge according to a press release. (RELATED: Report: Justice Department Indicts 11 Pro-Life Protestors)

Within 10 minutes of the FBI entering Vaughn's home, he was taken away in an undershirt and jeans, and the FBI refused to permit him to take identification or any means of communicating with his family. His family was not given any information about his whereabouts until six hours later. Vaughn was eventually taken to a federal holding facility, brought before a judge, charged, and then released — 60 miles away from his home, with no wallet or cell phone.

According to the press release, last year Vaughn participated in a peaceful pro-life “rescue” in Tennessee which involved “several pro-life activists sitting in a hallway outside of an abortion clinic in Tennessee singing Christian hymns, reading scripture and praying.” Now, Vaughn and others are being charged with violating the FACE Act, a charge that carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

According to Live Action, in March of 2021, a group of pro-life activists entered the Carafem abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. In an interview with WZTV at the time, Vaughn made it there was never any threat to the staff working at the facility, or to the women who may have been present. “It was like church service in there, people sitting in the floor in the hallway, people singing hymns, reading scripture, praying,” he said. “The purpose is to try to save babies today and most importantly be obedient to Christ.”

As FBI agents carried out their mission to terrify and intimidate pro-life individuals Vaughn's arrest seemed to coincide with President Biden's own agenda. At the time of Vaughn's arrest, the President met with the “Reproductive Rights Taskforce.”

“What Paul's arrest shows is that President Biden, the Justice Department and the FBI will use the government to fund their political and ideological allies — like Planned Parenthood, while using to persecute and harass their political opponents — like non-violent pro-life activists,” Les Riley, president of the Personhood Alliance, said in the press release.

Vaughn has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

“The Justice Department is in charge by definition of defending that which is good and prosecuting that which is evil. That is a basic definition of justice. When justice is weaponized, you cease to have justice. In the absence of justice, you have tyranny. It is not as complicated as many want to make it,” he said. “If you are an oppressive regime and wanted to strike fear and suppress any opposition and dissent, this is exactly the path to take. But this is not the end. It is just the beginning. When this false case is won, there will be another case, and we will deal with the abuse of power and the excessive show of force.”

Paul's arrest comes just a week after the FBI in Pennsylvania arrested another pro-lifer, Mark Houck in an early morning raid intended to terrorize pro-lifers and their families.

The DOJ has opted to aggressively crack down on pro-life activists while turning a blind eye to violence committed by pro-abortion radicals. For example, the DOJ has refused to prosecute at least 17 incidents of vandalism and arson against pro-life clinics committed by the radical abortion group “Jane's Revenge.”

  1. The left wing radical democrats are pushing this country closer and closer to that second revolution that has been talked about for years now. When it comes it will tear this country apart, and when the dust finally settles these United States of America will no longer exist. These next two Novembers may be our last chance to purge them from our government, otherwise they will destroy our constitutional republic and replace it with their version of a socialist government, with them in total power of course.

  2. This is outrageous! FBI rank and file ought to refuse to perform raids on innocent people. It is nothing more than harassment.

  3. There is one way to fight back against the third world tyranny the left is engaging in, it only takes a little prep with knowledgeable people!!! There is a price to be paid as any worthwhile action but the left has been asking for a “pushback” for a long time!! Maybe it is time to push back!!!
