Anti-Israel activists vandalized the Georgetown office of Rep. John Carter (R-Texas) this morning. Carter shared a photograph of his office door splattered with red paint and the words “free Gaza” scribbled in spray paint on the ground.
“Unhinged anti-Israel activists vandalized my Georgetown office. Let me make 2 things clear, my support for Israel is unwavering & your intimidation won’t work,” Carter posted to X. “Secondly, the parties responsible will be found & will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” (RELATED: Suspect Arrested For Setting Fire To Bernie Sanders’ Office)
Carter won a 12th term in 2022. He serves as the chair of the Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies and the co-chair of the House Army Caucus.
Monday’s incident comes as anti-Israel protests gain momentum nationwide. Protesters at Columbia University openly praised Hamas over the weekend, yelling, “Burn Tel Aviv to the ground!” (RELATED: Watch: Police Drag Yale Students Away As Another University Faces Full-Blown Crisis)
Earlier this month, demonstrators chanted “death to America” and “death to Israel” at a rally commemorating Al-Quds Day in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dearborn falls in Michigan’s 12th Congressional District, served by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D). The far-left “Squad” member got combative with Fox News’ Hillary Vaughn when asked about the chants. Rather than address the controversy, Tlaib made her views about the network abundantly clear.
