The man convicted of attacking the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the couple’s San Francisco home with a hammer was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday.

David DePape was previously sentenced to 30 years in prison after his June conviction on federal charges related to the Oct. 28, 2022, attack on Paul Pelosi. (RELATED: Man Who Bludgeoned Paul Pelosi Gets 30 Years)

On Tuesday, a federal jury in San Francisco found DePape guilty of charges, including aggravated kidnapping, first-degree burglary and false imprisonment of an elder.

“It’s my intention that Mr. DePape will never get out of prison. He can never be paroled,” Judge Harry Dorfman said while handing out the punishment.

The attack occurred days before the 2022 midterm elections and was captured on police body cameras. DePape broke into the Pelosi home and shouted, “Where’s Nancy?”

She was in Washington, D.C., at the time.

Using a hammer, DePape attacked Paul Pelosi, who sustained two head wounds, including a skull fracture that was mended with plates and screws that he will have for the rest of his life. His right arm and hand were also injured.

That’s quite a sentence, considering that it appears DePape WAS an invitee with whom Paul was sharing a drink when police arrived
Isn’t it also coincidence that the Alarm System at the Pelosi mansion was either not working or not turned on, and that DC cameras, which monitored the Pelosi San Francisco mansion 24/17 when Pelosi was in DC, acting as Speaker of the House, just happened to be turned to something else at the precise moment of the supposed break in, when DePape supposed shattered the glass door at the back of he mansion to gain entrance? It appears that the person manning the cameras on the Pelosi mansion was “distracted” at the precise moment the glass door was shattered, so there is actually NO PROOF that DePape actually broke in and was not invited in by Paul Pelosi

    too old to con

there is a whole lot more to this than has been told. life in prison? wow. Mr. Pelosi is said to have been attracted to men, and supposedly was well-known in the community for this. it is all hearsay, but one does question the circumstances around this story. some things did not make sense. we may never know the complete factual story. maybe Mr Pape will write a book.
