LEWISVILLE, Texas — Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell (R) was seriously injured and her husband, Fred Mitchell, was killed early Monday morning after the couple was stabbed in their home. The alleged attacker was their 23-year-old grandson, who has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police were called to the scene around 3:53 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from inside the home. Officers arrived within minutes and found the couple suffering from multiple stab wounds. Fred Mitchell died at the hospital shortly after 5 a.m., while Commissioner Mitchell underwent emergency surgery and is expected to recover.
Their 23-year-old grandson, Mitchell Blake Reinacher, was found at the scene and has been charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Reinacher — one of the Mitchells’ nine grandchildren, according to her government website — is being held at the Lewisville jail.

Deputies were still on the scene processing evidence later Monday morning as they continued to probe the circumstances that led to the attack, the sheriff’s office said.
Bobbie J. Mitchell previously served on the Lewisville City Council before becoming the city’s first black mayor in 1993.
Mitchell resigned as mayor in 2000 and has represented Precinct 3 in rapidly growing Denton County for 25 years.
Lewisville Police Chief Brook Rollins stated that the suspect lived in the home and used a serrated kitchen knife in the attack. A motive has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Commissioner Mitchell is widely respected in the Denton County community. Local leaders, including Denton County Judge Andy Eads and Rep. Jared Patterson (R-Frisco), have asked for prayers and privacy for the family of the county’s “most beloved public servant.”

Probably claiming self-defense, isn’t he?
Now this is coming out. Just proves the media and the dimwit nitwits only lie to everyone. This is a national embarrassment or it should be. Electing someone with a cancer and totally senile is unbelievable but they, the DNC, did it. So the question is still WHO WAS IN CHARGE. Was is JILL? Was it Bozo? WHO had that electronic pen in their hands especially at the end. All of those pardons are BS. Reverse it all!
And what the hell is the newly elected bunch of DNC and GOP leaders gonna do about this corruption, the lying, and Comey threatening a hit on Trump. When is the GOP gonna get nasty enough to stand up to this criminal party, the DNC of today? The whole bunch cheats on elections.
We in AZ are really fed up. Time to make these people face the music as in criminal charges. Next election in AZ will give us the message. Katy Hobbs did not win her term in AZ legally but she controlled the election results with the roulette voting machine and crooked vote counters she controlled! Time to stop this little funnel. Look at our crooked Senators under her watch! AZ is NOT dimwit, the elections have been stolen.
Report that NEWS Jerks!!!
