Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she has long been uncomfortable with what she described as the “MAGA Mar-a-Lago sexualization” of women and plans to speak more openly about it, according to a New York Times interview published Monday.

Greene told the Times that she has been privately critical of how some women in President Donald Trump’s orbit present themselves at Mar-a-Lago, a phenomenon often referred to as “Mar-a-Lago Face.” The term has been used to describe exaggerated cosmetic procedures, including lip fillers, breast augmentation, and plastic surgery, among some of Trump’s closest allies.

“I never liked the MAGA Mar-a-Lago sexualization. I believe how women in leadership present themselves sends a message to younger women,” Greene told the Times. “I have two daughters, and I’ve always been uncomfortable with how those women puff up their lips and enlarge their breasts. I’ve never spoken about it publicly, but I’ve been planning to.”

The interviews, conducted in early December, also included Greene’s criticism of remarks Trump made at the Sept. 21 memorial for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk. During the event, Trump said that while Kirk did not hate his opponents, he himself did.

“[Kirk] did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent, and I don’t want the best for them,” Trump said at the memorial.

Greene called the statement deeply troubling.

“That was absolutely the worst statement,” she said. “It just shows where his heart is. And that’s the difference, with her having a sincere Christian faith, and proves that he does not have any faith.”

Greene has previously questioned Trump’s religious sincerity, arguing that his rhetoric conflicts with Christian values.

The Times interviews also captured Greene’s growing distance from Republican leadership. She sharply criticized House Speaker Mike Johnson, saying, “Johnson is not our Speaker… He is not our leader.”

Greene’s comments follow her announcement in November that she would leave the House of Representatives before the end of her term. In a video explaining her decision, Greene cited frustration with what she described as the abandonment of America First priorities and the influence of entrenched political and corporate interests.

“If I am cast aside by the president and the MAGA political machine and replaced by neocon’s big pharma, big tech military-industrial war complex, foreign leaders and the elite donor class that can never ever relate to real Americans, then many common Americans have been cast aside and replaced as well,” Greene said. “America first should mean America first, and only Americans first, with no other foreign country ever being attached to America first in our halls of government.”

A special election to fill Greene’s soon-to-be vacant congressional seat is expected to take place in March 2026.

A woman scorned. now we have to go thru all the “interviews” where she commits political Suicide.

How petty MTG? For a woman more concerned with her appearance than most. Nothing like a jealous woman to deal with. Trump will be better without her jealous pettiness around. She now has a man with TDS to control her thoughts.

I have always liked MTG’s courage, but she has gone off track. True, we have great looking women in the administration and that is a good thing. You can pretty well spot a liberal woman just by her horrible appearance. And Trump was right. I too hate the ignorant, evil enemy of the hysterical left and wish them nothing but pain for their betrayal of American values.
