Turning Point USA is experiencing an unprecedented surge in support following the memorial service for its late founder Charlie Kirk, with officials saying the organization is now “on the cusp” of having a chapter on nearly every high school and college campus in the United States.
In a major update Tuesday night, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet revealed the scale of growth, citing a doubling of inquiries to start new chapters since Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday.
“HUGE UPDATE — After Sunday’s memorial for Charlie, TPUSA received a massive surge of inquiries to start new chapters,” Kolvet announced. “Pre-Sunday: ~60,000 inquiries. Post-Sunday: Over 120,000.”
Even accounting for duplicates and attrition, Kolvet emphasized the significance of the moment. “We are on the cusp of having a TPUSA or Club America chapter in every HS and College campus in America.”
100 Million Viewers, 1 Message: The Gospel
The memorial service, which honored Kirk’s life, mission, and deep Christian faith, was broadcast around the world. According to TPUSA’s streaming and production partners, more than 100 million people tuned in.
“This is JUST what they know about. It’s likely much larger,” Kolvet said. “Over 100 million people just heard the Gospel proclaimed again and again by speaker after speaker. Truly remarkable. For Charlie.”
Video footage from the event showed thousands responding to altar calls, with many standing and committing their lives to Jesus Christ. The memorial emphasized the evangelical and cultural foundation Kirk built TPUSA on.
Momentum Carries Into National Campus Tour
TPUSA is continuing Kirk’s legacy with its national campus tour, launched just weeks before his tragic assassination at Utah Valley University. The tour features major conservative and faith-based voices, many of whom shared close ties with Kirk.
Confirmed speakers on the current tour include Michael Knowles, Megyn Kelly, Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA), Tucker Carlson, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Vivek Ramaswamy, Glenn Beck, Alex Clark and Jason Chaffetz.
The next event, hosted at Virginia Tech, will feature Megyn Kelly and Glenn Beck. On October 21, Tucker Carlson is slated to headline at Indiana University Bloomington.
A Movement Bigger Than Politics
While TPUSA is well-known for its bold campus activism and conservative values, Kirk’s passing has refocused the movement’s identity on its spiritual core.
Kolvet noted that many of the new chapter requests are coming not just from political activists, but from students moved by the memorial’s message of faith, freedom, and courage.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th, during TPUSA’s national tour. His death sent shockwaves through the conservative movement, with world leaders, pastors, and students mourning the loss of a man many considered one of the most influential voices of his generation.
