Disturbing decline in global nuclear security, watchdog says. For the first time since it began in 2012, the Nuclear Threat Index has found that security had gotten worse rather than better.

The southern port of Odesa and the Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions were under threat of Russian drone attacks. SPACE THREAT

Launch of Air Force Research Lab navigation satellite delayed again. The Air Force Research Laboratory has pushed the launch of an experimental navigation satellite until next spring due to the delayed debut of United Launch Alliance's Vulcan Centaur rocket.

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY

Smaller Marine forces to focus on short-term deployments in Middle East. Future Marine deployments to Middle East won't look like the ones the service became known for during recent decades of war.

US, Philippines forces training in tandem as countries' alliance expands. U.S. forces are back in the Philippines for another round of joint exercises with their Filipino counterparts as Washington and Manilla expand cooperation.

HOMELAND SECURITY

    The DOD Top BrASS intentionally abandoned millions of arms to the enemy Taliban and wasted billions more to destroy the effectiveness of our armed forces.
