Biden Booed Harshly In Maui – Talks About Almost Losing His ‘Vette’

-

ANALYSIS – Had a Republican president been as lackadaisical, tone deaf and uncaring as Joe in the wake of the devastating wildfires in Hawaii, the would be all over him.

In fact, George W. Bush was savaged for his Air Force One flyover of Katrina-ravaged New Orleans.

But it's Joe, and he is a Democrat. (RELATED: No Labels Likely To Launch Third-Party ‘Alternative' If Trump, Biden Win Nominations)

Biden can take a leisurely vacation August 13 on Rehoboth Beach, Delaware while the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui was still smoking, and at least 115 Americans were killed, and the media remain mostly quiet.

The Maui wildfires are the deadliest in the U.S. in over a century.

When asked about the rising death toll, Biden curtly responded “no comment,” before heading back to his beach house.

Thirteen days after the wildfires devastated Maui, and after mounting criticism, and mounting death toll now claimed to be almost 500, Biden finally flew to the island, taking a break from a weeklong vacation at a Democratic billionaire's Lake Tahoe mansion. Career politician Biden seems to have more billionaire friends than Trump, an actual billionaire.

While in Tahoe, Biden again declined to comment Thursday when asked to discuss his planned trip to Maui, saying, “No, not now.”

And when Biden finally decided to grace the island with his presence, and his massive thirty vehicle-motorcade, Maui residents told him what they thought.

Very few people showed up to see the president, and those who did shouted obscenities and booed Biden. Others flipped him the bird or gave him a thumbs down gesture as he passed them.

Newsweek reported:

…according to pool reporters who traveled with Biden's motorcade, the president was met with some hostility from residents of the island, who held up signs that read “F*** Biden” and “Trump Won.”

CBS News affiliate WCTV also spoke with people who appeared to be protesting Biden's visit. Those residents, who were pictured standing across the street from the Kapalua Airport where the president landed on the island Monday morning, held signs that read, “It's too late” and “Actions speak louder than words.” Others told WCTV that they feel the president should have visited the island much earlier.

WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

The Post noted that other signs amid the ash and ruin in Lahaina said “FJB,” as well as “No comment,” in reference to Biden's refusal to address the tragedy while on the beach in Rehoboth.

And Biden, being Biden, couldn't help but screwing up his long overdue visit.

After joking about the ground being hot and a cadaver dog's boots, he tried to compare the deadly inferno to a highly embellished story of the near-loss of his beloved '67 Corvette and cat due to lightning and a fire 15 years ago. According to the Daily Signal, a business owner in Kihei, Maui, said that Biden's comparison was “the most despicable thing this president has ever said,” adding, “How do you compare almost losing your f****** Corvette to the children burned in their f****** homes, man?”

Kristen Goodwin, a former teacher on the island, similarly expressed contempt for Biden, noting, “I'm not voting for him again — that's for sure. I'll vote for Trump. I will never vote for him again.”

Over 800 people reportedly remain missing. So, the death toll could be even higher. But at least Biden didn't lose his precious '67 Vette or his cat.

  1. I don’t think the big guy has a heart. What a total embarrassment,to the people of MAUI, and America. He has no compassion, for anyone, but himself, and crackhead hunter.Daddy like son,ya,what a joke.

  2. And to think, Biden won Hawaii in 2020 by a ratio of 2 to 1 over Trump. If Hawaiians are now disgusted with Biden, just think how the rest of the country feels.

Democrats and RINOs are NOT your friends, nor are they interested in your health or welfare. Better wisen up in 2024.

  3. Listening to him tell his pathetic stories, he claims he grew up in Claymont Delaware, I thought it was Scranton Pennsylvania, or was it near the coal miners town in West Virginia, which is it JOE? This guy is a serial liar, and a corrupt P.O.S., Trump won the election and he knows it, that is why it is an all out attack on Trump now. They know Trump will get so many votes that they won’t be able to cheat enough to overcome the ground swell that is about to happen./
