Biden Needs Cognitive Tests After DOJ Says He’s Too Senile To Be Tried

-

ANALYSIS's latest press conference, hastily organized for him to refute his own (DOJ) report on his memory of mishandling classified materials, and his mental clarity, just made things worse for the nominal president.

agents, says the 380-page report, recovered highly classified “materials from the garage, offices, and basement den in Mr. Biden's Wilmington, Delaware, home.” Some of them dated back to his time in the Senate in the 1970s and 1980s.

Biden has known about them since at least 2017.

That's when he was recorded confiding to his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer in April of that year, that he still had official records because “I didn't want to turn them in.”

This was three months after leaving the vice presidency. However, Biden likely knew he had some of them for decades.

DOJ concluded that Biden ‘willfully retained and disclosed' classified military and national security information, some of which was still Top Secret, as well as Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

The report noted that Biden kept many of the classified materials to assist in the writing of two memoirs published in 2007 and 2017, as well as “to document his legacy, and to cite as evidence that he was a man of presidential timber.”

“At least three times Mr. Biden read from classified entries [from his diary] aloud to his ghostwriter nearly verbatim, DOJ added.

But Biden's angry denunciations of the DOJ report, and his confusing Mexico with Egypt during his remarks only added to concerns about his mental state, especially among doctors and neurologists.

In its justification for not pressing charges against the frail Biden, DOJ's report concluded that to a jury, Biden would likely come across as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

A visibly seething Biden responded to that passage later, saying, “I am well-meaning. And I'm an elderly man. And I know what the hell I'm doing.

The New York Post reported:

Medical professionals have stepped up calls for President Biden to take a mental competency test after Thursday's blistering report from special counsel Robert Hur revealed the 81-year-old can't remember basic facts about his own life and career.

The Hur report, released Thursday, assessed Biden as too senile to be prosecuted over his wrongful retention of and noted the commander-in-chief “did not remember when he was vice president” and “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died” over two days of interviews in October.

“Something isn't right, and even if it's minor, it must be explained to the public,” Dr. Stuart Fischer, a primary care physician at a nursing home in the Bronx, told The Post.

Meanwhile, the Post added, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), the White House physician to both Presidents Barack Obama and , and member of the White House Medical Unit under President George W. Bush, said that if Biden becomes the Democratic presidential nomination he should “100%” submit to a mental competency test before the election.

“He doesn't need a [cognitive] screening test,” Jackson explained. “He needs an actual cognitive battery of tests, objectively done, put on paper, and briefed to the American people by his physician.”

“If you're too senile to stand trial, then you're too senile to be president,” said Alex Pfeiffer, spokesman for Make America Great Again, a pro-Trump PAC.
