ANALYSIS – In the latest effort by President Joe Biden and his leftist supporters to censor conservatives and promote their own domestic disinformation, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is being savaged for creating a Disinformation Governance Board (aka: ‘Truth Board’), to allegedly fight ‘disinformation.’ (RELATED: Social Media Censorship Particularly Hits Those Without Political Connections)
More specifically, to “coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”
Rather than fix their horrendous, self-created border and migration crisis, they are using taxpayer dollars to fund a monstrous partisan program to spin it.
Beyond the dangerous precedent of the federal government engaging in deciding what is true and what is not, and creating its own partisan ‘Ministry of Truth’ propaganda office at DHS, the executive director of this Orwellian new agency is Nina Jankowicz, well known for peddling her own outrageous disinformation.
As the Washington Examiner reported, Jankowicz, a well-known Democrat partisan with close links to Ukraine, promoted the debunked Christopher Steele dossier used to smear President Trump and repeatedly downplayed the Hunter Biden laptop story falsely claiming the Democrat spin that it was part of a ‘foreign interference campaign.’
The Washington Examiner notes that Jankowicz replied to a tweet by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on Dec. 8, 2017, asking “Was there collusion between DOJ and Fusion GPS to use Democratic funded dossier for political and legal purposes?” by saying falsely that “your party funded the dossier first.” (RELATED: Trump Sues Hillary and DNC for $72 Million Over Russian Collusion Allegations)
She also tweeted on April 22, 2020, that “you’re probably aware that [the Steele dossier] began as a Republican opposition research project.”
But that has proven to be absolutely false. As the Examiner explains:
…Steele created his discredited anti-Trump dossier after being hired in early 2016 by the opposition firm Fusion GPS, which was itself hired by the Perkins Coie law firm and Marc Elias, the general counsel for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
She also described the Hunter laptop hard drive — which has now been repeatedly authenticated by establishment media such as The New York Times and Washington Post — as a “Trump campaign product.”
According to the Examiner:
The Associated Press ran a story Oct. 14, 2020, reporting, “Disinformation experts say there are multiple red flags that raise doubts about their authenticity, including questions about whether the laptop actually belongs to Hunter Biden, said Nina Jankowicz.” The report quoted her as saying that “we should view it as a Trump campaign product.”
Jankowicz shared a report Oct. 22, 2020, she said was “casting yet more doubt on the provenance of the New York Post’s Hunter Biden story.” And she tweeted that day, “The emails don’t need to be altered to be part of an influence campaign. Voters deserve that context, not a [fairy] tale about a laptop repair shop.”
And her commitment to free speech, in general, is under fire as well since last week, Jankowicz told NPR in response to Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, that she “shudder[s] to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms.” (RELATED: Project Veritas Obtains Secret Audio of Twitter Meeting After Takeover)
Critics and Republican lawmakers are furious. In response, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) tweeted:
During the worst border crisis in history, Biden’s DHS is creating an Orwellian ‘disinformation governance board’ led by a partisan Democrat who herself spread disinformation. What a disgrace. When Republicans take control, we will fix this.
And not waiting till the GOP takes over Congress, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) quickly sent Mayorkas a letter demanding that the board be dissolved immediately:
I confess, I at first thought this announcement was satire. Surely no American Administration would ever use the power of Government to sit in judgment on the First Amendment speech of its own citizens. Sadly, I was mistaken. Rather than protecting our border or the American homeland, you have chosen to make policing Americans’ speech your priority. This new board is almost certainly unconstitutional and should be dissolved immediately.
From your mouths to God’s ears, senators. We need to quash this grotesque aberration of a leftist Frankenstein monster before it can even stand up.

Great. Now a federal organization, let us sue the pants or skirts off them under FOIA to ensure transparency and look at their deliberations in deciding what is disinformation.
How often the Biden administration will be cited will be a key factor in the integrity of the Disinformation Governance Board.
Is MAYORKAS stating that the BORDER IS CLOSED going to be the first victim?
So people using disparagingly the term, “Orwellian,” for over 70 years was not enough to keep these morons from actually trying to bring it about. There is nothing that should stand in the way of the fall of this government. They have gone above and beyond to make sure their legacy will be one of complete failure. Many times, works of fiction lead mankind in a direction of good but I would not rule out civil war to prevent this dystopian novel from being brought to life.
