China’s Repression Comes to US – CCP Police Are in NYC

-

SPECIAL REPORT – Communist has created a network of overseas police stations to extend its repressive reach globally. There are reportedly at least 54 of these police service stations across five continents, in cities from Toronto to Dublin.

But why is there one on U.S. soil — in the Big Apple?

Earlier news reports noted the existence of Communist Chinese police stations in leftist-run Canada.

This sparked an outcry in Canada and demands for an investigation, but now we learn they are also in the United States.

This is outrageous and unacceptable. These Chinese repression outposts on U.S. soil must also be investigated and shut down immediately.

Thankfully, GOP lawmakers are acting and challenging Team Biden on how this was allowed. (RELATED: Top Republican Drops Bombshell on Hannity: Joe Biden Personally Sold US Natural Gas to Communist China)

A group of U.S. on Oct. 7 sent a letter to Attorney General and Secretary of State questioning them about the Chinese police station in New York City.

The lawmakers requested Blinken and Garland answer six critical questions before Oct. 21.

Their questions include, did the State Department or Justice Department invite or authorize their presence, is there any other Chinese presence in the United States and were these police officers given visas by the State Department?

“We are writing to express our grave concern over reports of the law enforcement presence of the People's Republic of China in New York City,” the 21 lawmakers wrote, referring to China's full name.

The lawmakers noted the Chinese regime's campaign to target overseas nationals prompted the FBI to issue a warning in 2020 that the CCP had targeted Chinese nationals living in the United States to force them to return, which was part of the CCP's global campaign known as Operation Fox Hunt. The Chinese police unit in New York, called Fuzhou Police Overseas Service Station, opened on Feb. 15, according to Dongnan News, a outlet of the Fujian provincial .

Other Chinese provinces have opened similar outposts.

The NYC center, used to monitor and repress U.S. residents, is located at 107 East Broadway, inside the headquarters of the American Changle Association (ACA), an alleged nonprofit with close ties to the Chinese regime.

As The Epoch Times reports, the ACA:

… as with many purportedly grassroots Chinese organizations, is linked to the 's sprawling “united front” system. That refers to a network of thousands of overseas groups loosely overseen by the United Front Work Department, a powerful Party agency that works to advance the regime's interests abroad, including by carrying out foreign influence operations, suppressing dissident movements, gathering intelligence, and facilitating the transfer of technology to China.

This New York City outpost, reports The Epoch Times, was among the “first batch” of 30 overseas police service stations in 21 countries set up by the Public Security Bureau in Fuzhou.

The Chinese authorities claim these outposts are simply police liaison offices employed to coordinate with local law enforcement, with many tasks “traditionally considered of a consular nature.”

However, according to a September report from the human rights watchdog called Safeguard Defenders, they are far from benign.

The report titled “110 Overseas: Chinese Transnational Policing Gone Wild,” notes:

These operations eschew official bilateral police and judicial cooperation and violate the international rule of law, and may violate the territorial integrity in third countries involved in setting up a parallel policing mechanism using illegal methods.

The report adds that China's ‘110 overseas' outposts have a “more sinister goal, as they contribute to ‘resolutely cracking down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities involving overseas Chinese.'”

According to the report, some of the stations have already been “implicated in collaborating with Chinese police in carrying out policing operations on foreign soil.”

Epoch Times explains that:

From April 2021 to July 2022, an estimated 230,000 overseas Chinese nationals have been “persuaded to return” to the country to face criminal charges, according to a Chinese state media report.

Safeguard Defenders noted that such “persuasion to return” involves harassment and intimidation of the target's relatives in China. If the target refuses to comply, their families could face punishment, such as their children being denied .

The Safeguard Defenders report notes that “These methods allow the CCP and their security organs to circumvent normal bilateral mechanisms of police and judicial cooperation, thereby severely undermining the international rule of law and territorial integrity of the third countries involved.” (RELATED: China Working With Drug Cartels to Keep Flooding US With Opioids)

Shih Yi-hsiang, head of the Association for Human Rights, told Radio Free Europe (RFE) that the report should act as an urgent warning to governments around the world that the Chinese state is carrying out operations overseas.

GOP lawmakers agree, and stated: “there should be no room for the Chinese government to exercise extraterrestrial law enforcement unilaterally on U.S. soil.”

Let's see how Garland and Blinken respond to their questions by October 21, but it's vital that Team Biden be held accountable for this outrageous breach of U.S. sovereignty and constitutional protections.

It is even more critical that this repressive Communist Chinese police presence be removed from U.S. soil. ALD

  1. What is heard regarding this interesting bit of business from our congressional representatives strikes me as a most interesting question.

  2. When the senile buffoon currently occupying the white house is owned and operated by the Chinese, what would you expect? This traitor is much more dangerous to our rights and freedoms than anyone else in the history of this nation. The Fourth Reich of Herr Fuhrer Groper Joe Bribedem is moving forward every day.

  3. Inch by inch. That’s how we’ll lose our country. Just a little of this, a little of that. Next we’ll see foreign nationals in our military. As spies of course, but that will be denied, by the politicians in charge. Oh wait, we already have Gen. Millie promising inside information to Chinese Military leaders. Not long before we don’t know who is on our side and who is only here serving the interests of our enemies. Oh wait, we’re long past that mark already. We have sworn enemies of our country in congress, who openly criticize our Founders, and make it clear they are not for our way of life, like Ilhan Omar.
